I see Perth Red didn’t respond to the question.

HBF upgradeWhat was the $300m WA Government investment in Oct and what are they not getting now from them?
The Liberal Party. At the risk of adding to the conjecture, the following quote taken from The Wests article posting not long ago is the pertinent bit for me:
"Mr Cook said the league should have prioritised negotiations with a consortium of business owners.
It instead chose to switch its focus to the State Government after the AFL’s talks to expand into Tasmania"
Whos fingerprints do you see there ?
Vlandys opened the door, Libs just walked through it.The Liberal Party.
Oh my.Vlandys opened the door, Libs just walked through it.
Vlandys opened the door, Libs just walked through it.
Both parties were suppose to stay quite during the election run-in.Huh ? How did he open the door ?
By NRL delaying the decision and making it an election issue. There was no commentary over here until the election loomed. Then the Libs and their newspaper jumped on the NRl media leaks to the Sydney papers.Huh ? How did he open the door ?
Just like happened in NSW regarding Stadia at the State Election. Both parties were suppose to stay quite during the election run-in.
PVL leaked to the media potential costs ... the Liberal Party jumped on it as wasteful spending.
FMD …another one !Both parties were suppose to stay quite during the election run-in.

And if the deal got leaked cookie wouldn’t have changed his mind once the libs put pressure on?By NRL delaying the decision and making it an election issue. Deal done in October its all over well before election made it a political football. They had the choice to accept the WB bid and the Wa govt support of it in October. They didnt, and here we are.
There is no reason to believe that if the deal had been done in October it would have changed 5 months later. And if the deal got leaked cookie wouldn’t have changed his mind once the libs put pressure on?

Care to elaborate? You are deliberating lying now just like you have a hundred times before
Care to elaborate?
Putting aside all the dick measuring its hugely disappointing that the NRL remains an East Coast only sport and that our only expansion outside QLD in 30 years is totally reliant on govt handouts.
The fact he’s talking about it in the media says it’s not deadNothing new ....
