One billion dollars including two upgraded stadiums which the afl isn’t contributing a cent too

Looks like afl have higher standards for their expansion teams than we do which is a shame

Hopefully the camera for bears home games only pans to the right side in a 90 degree arc
Australian government putting in $600m of our money for an NRL team in another country. Not enough for you?

Hopefully any wide angle camera shots only show the player resort and not the rest of the country.

I’m asking you to provide a link where the nrl has committed to matched funding.

afl have also guaranteed $9mill above standard base funding of other clubs for 10 years.

So tassie govt putting in $144mill to club plus $375mill for stadium
afl putting in $150mill to stadium and grassroots and $90mill extra club funding

meanwhile wa govt putting in $60-70mill and nrl zero. Hmm.
Keep digging that hole the footy was boring today

It was posted previously by someone that knows what he’s talking about

Judging by the poor crowd yesterday the lack of stadium upgrades is a big negative

The glory and force got 5500 for the past home games
righto, like Vlandys Abdo and 2 commissioners coming to Perth?

when I see something from the nrl announcing matched funding I’ll believe it, until then I’ll put it in the rumour pile with most other things.

So let me get this straight, you throw shade three times in a day at red black bear because something he heard last Monday was probably true and it changed as week went on and yet you have never taken any accountability for your constant incorrect updates?

you said bid was be green lit October it wasnt. You said bid was going to be green lit this weekend it wasn’t. You said cumins was over there line he wasn’t. You have been wrong at every single turn. Hence youre perthwrongs but now the one thing that’s probably changed over the course of a week as it’s obvious with bids dead bid alive bids dead bids alive again for all to see ya think suddenly red black bear who has been almost right everytime now you feel the need to throw shade?

youre pathetic, you’re a genuinely piece of shit twat.

perthwrongs, 60 year old bloke from hull who has been lying for 20 years on a forum. Ding dong

Nrl putting zero in, afl putting in$150mill. Might be reflective of the end outcome maybe?

I know we’ll play at optus and say the wa govt has invested $1.8 billion into the game. That seems to be your logic re Christchurch lol
It's not $150M it's $25M and it's for over a billion dollars plus worth of infrastructure and funding from the country's poorest state, not even close to the same thing.

WA on the other hand, the country's richest state, $35M and won't even pay to upgrade a state asset - lol. Piss poor effort

Deflection as usual

The money is matching the govt spending on juniors

It has nothing to do with the stadium spend

As usual he’s deflecting cause he’s desperate for the nrl to accept any Perth bid

I don't accept the juniors as an investment that benefits this deal, it's their job to fund that so it's excluded. All they're putting in is $15M for the stadium and $10M for training facilities

No, for the Tassie project they are putting in $135mill to grass roots $15mill to stadium $90mill over base funding. Get it right if you’re going to try and score points.

You can’t even get that fake argument right lol
they’re putting in $20mill for training centre at Malaga, $10mill for Ken Allen field temp training facilities.

No need to bag RBB, been more on the money than you and hasn't acted the snowflake during this saga, unlike yourself... lol. Don't let being interviewed for a article go to your head, it's very unbecoming. As is your blind spot to WA Labor's failures during the negotiation. Must do better... lol.

The sane members of this thread want to see a Perth team and know the benefits this will bring. Fingers crossed this is the week the league and sport gets what it needs.

Grass roots isn't contributing anything to Tasmania, it's the AFLs job to fund that stuff.

So are you suggesting that if the NRL put $15M into that shit box stadium in Perth WA would suddenly turn around and build us an Allianz?

Ok, so I'm out on the numbers, good one, you completely got me there. Tell me why is it a fake argument that $35M is a pathetic offer compared to what's going to be well over $1B just because the AFL put a miniscule amount into a stadium and training field?

What's your evidence that if the NRL put $15M into Perth rectangular stadium they'd suddenly build is a billion dollar stadium? That's not going to happen so it sounds like you're making fake arguments.

Why is it incumbent on the WA Govt to match the shitty deal that Tasmania signed up to?

That's not there responsibility.

The comparison to Tasmania is dumb because AFL is their biggest sport and NRL is a niche sport in WA …a look at their TV ratings will tell you that
