Obviously North Sydney Bears are involved though, and clearly they aren't relocating, so the way I've described the team is probably accurate, however, we'll wait until the details have been released because my secret sauce is on annual leave at the moment.
I'd be more excited if Norths LC put its hand in its pocket and funded NS pathways better!

Why would they spend millions to see their juniors go to rival nrl clubs ?

With zero compensation lol
err, because its why they are supposed to exist and justification for the social misery they create?
Western Bears were going to fund 4 positions in NS set up to help fill the gaps. Are Norths LC now going to fund those positions instead? Better not be coming out of the WA govt grassroots funding.

Since you asked another question I will repeat the bears have the capacity to do that yes.

I’m sure they will spend more on their juniors when they have a top level team to play for

why is it baffling? Optus is 65k. Maximising ticket sales means it wouldn't be at a 30k rectangular stadium if we had one.
Well, baffling in that they would bring a game or 2 out to Australia and then actually play it in Perth rather than Sydney (Sydney's Italian community is 11 x bigger than Perth's). I suppose if they want to play in Perth Optus should be the venue.

You do realise these games go to the highest bidder dont you? and the WA govt has very deep pockets and a love for spending our money on events.

Bears made an offer to fund the team up to 49 percent if the arl wanted it

Time to get a clue
Isn’t that what red & black bear said that came straight from the agm at norths a month back?

That's the thing with addiction, you cant see it yourself.
how’s it different to any pub in qld or nsw ya dumb donkey shit? People go to these places to eat drink and watch sports all the time. Sometimes even events like peoples birthdays, get togethers and anniversaries are held there, sometimes even work conferences. I know this must be a revelation to a bloke who has had his head in the sand for decades now like yourself but these things happen very often.

the fact you assume the worst shows how out of touch you are with reality. No wonder ya always wrong on every topic you post about, ya quite literally have no clue about anything.

And what if it is? What ya gonna do? Grab a sign and March straight west Aussie parliament voicing ya opinion? Maybe you’ll write a couple letters. Get stuffed ya twat. You are a pommy ring in who has had zero to do with this and no matter how much you try to showcase ya irrelevant self importance to this whole Perth bears thing, no one cares about your out of touch and blatantly incorrect opinions.

Joint venture is interesting. It explains what I've been wondering. So it is the Bears that are back , but just not as a stand-alone so the foundation of this club will be 2027 with no North Sydney premiership recognition by the sounds of it.

Probably a good move in line with the two histories, one future slogan.
Joint venture = nrl and west Aussie gov. Not bears and “insert franchise”.

More sources. There’s literally a poster here who would know.
