Lol... Could you imagine just how slow the defence would have to be for him to chip, chase, regather and then run the 'X' amount of metres to put the ball down?!

I think THAT ALONE would be worth the money Parra are paying him!

Yup. Wags started there at the start of the season, and we were really inconsistent.

Smithy then moved Buettner to 5/8, sent Wags to the forwards, and then we went on that amazing run all the way to the Grand Final.

Is there a lesson there Brian?

I dont think so mate. Every game which Wagon was pivot we won. The 4 we lost was with Buettner at pivot. He was a very different player at the time and would play as a tradtional player would with a good pass and sometimes a kick.
