Never, ever play BOTH Larkham and Rogers in the 10 and 12. They are both crap defenders. I'd have:

15. Latham
14. Rathbone/Shepard (leaning towards Shepard)
13. Mortlock (C)
12. Staniforth
11. Tuquiri (he is not a friken centre so DON'T play him there FFS)
10. Larham/Rogers (pick one of them, on form Rogers on past performances Larkham)
9. Giteau (liked what I saw there, should replace Gregan fulltime)

Pack would be the same except Baxter out, replace him with ANYONE!

Staniforth! No thanks. Need someone with more creativity than that in the 12.

Larkham has to be the 10 as well. In the first half all of our good passages of play came from Larkham passes, not from anything Rogers did.

I'd like to trial Gerrard in the centres. I know he was sh*t against the Ospreys, but I think he has the right athletic ability and skills to be an inside centre - especially when teamed up with Larkham.

Don't pull that line on me Locky, you know what the answer will be. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't know Staniforth's game well enough.

#12 needs to be able to play like a 10, something Staniforth simply doesn't do. I rate him as a quality outside centre - a hard runner who can set up his outside man, but doesn't have the tactical kicking game of a 12.

Try Gerrard at 12, should really be SNK but hes not even here. Giteau at halfback is the way to go.

How many kickers do you need? Latham, Rogers/Larkham, Giteau, Mortlock, Shephard! Why do you need another kicker! Nathan Grey was a good test no12 and he barely kicked at all!

Nathan Grey good? Now I've heard it all. Your rugby knowledge is the same as your league knowledge locky... ZERO!

Once again the Wallabies showed why they still need Gregan at scrum half. Giteau was alright, but I feel we're weakening one of our strengths to strengthen one of our weaknesses if Gregan isn't available. Still, I'd much prefer Giteau over some joker like Sheehan or Valentine... so failing the lack of a suitable option on this tour I guess Giteau has to stay. As a side note, God I laughed so hard when the Welsh commentators said that Dwayne Peel was the best scrumhalf in the world. Great comedy team those two.

I was right again about Rogers in the #10. I hoped I wouldn't be, but lo and behold another woeful performance. Rogers isn't playing well enough to be in the first XXII, let alone the first XV at the moment. I'd like to see Sheppard trialled there, I think he could be a real goer.

Waugh was useless. When we needed the captain to lead the team in the final 10-15 minutes, he disappeared. I realise he's only a rookie captain, but no excuses. We would have been infinately better off with George Smith out there.

I did like what I saw from a number of other players though, particularly Palu. Elsom was again idiotic and provided the team with nothing other than a dropped ball going for glory when all he had to do was place it back and the next man coming through would have been over.

Finally, Steve Walsh again showed why he must never again be appointed to a match involving an Australian team. He hates Australians, and it showed in his rulings, particularly that last "crossing" decision when we were pressing for a match-winning drop goal.

Based on what I saw against Wales, and in the Tri-Nations this year, my Wallabies world cup team:

15. Chris Latham
14. Clyde Rathbone
13. Stirling Mortlock
12. Matt Giteau
11. Lote Tuqiri
10. Steve Larkham
9. George Gregan (c)
8. Wycliffe Palu
7. George Smith
6. Daniel Heenan
5. Nathan Sharpe
4. Daniel Vickerman
3. Rodney Blake
2. Jeremy Paul
1. Benn Robinson

16. Tai McIssac
17. Al Baxter
18. Mark Chisholm
19. Scott Fava
20. Sam Cordingley
21. Mark Gerrard
22. Cameron Sheppard

Don't know about shifting Sheppard to 10, wing is the best spot for him with our depth atm. Barnes when he comes back from injury will be the 10, he'll be the backup at the very least, maybe even 12.

Barnes is a great player but he is injury prone unfortunately. Gregan should be nowhere near that side. He has been pedestrian for 4 years!

Then you clearly haven't watched rugby for 4 years, and I have no wish to debate any further with a clearly illiterate and uneducated moron. Good day, sir.

Good to see you’re back mouthing off again.
You went missing halfway through last year’s super 14 comp, after your pro Bummies propaganda was proven to be complete garbage.

Actually I went missing probably halfway through the Tri Nations. Never mind, the S14 is the Brumbies' for the taking.

wallabies with gregan at halfback = impotent
wallabies without gregan at halfback = holy crap! that was awesome

if our front row can learn to hold their own in a scrum and if mat rogers makes less mistakes we may not be the laughing stock of the southern hemisphere.

you guys need a decent coach - nucifora ? and i really feel its time for a cleanout.

without a competitive aussie side, its going to be boring. the nth hemisphere teams are sh*t.

Nothing wrong with the coach mate. The team is sh!t. That's all it boils down to.

Australia won't survive the group stage the way we are playing at the moment.

Nucifora, isn't he the bloke that's destroyed the Blues? No thanks

He'll be fine, lots of time to recover for next year. I wouldn't mind a side like so

1. Greg Holmes
2. Jeremy Paul
3. Rodney Blake
4. Hugh McMenimen
5. Dan Vickerman
6. Rocky Elsom
7. George Smith
8. Stephen Holies (or Adam Wallace Harrison if he gets the 8 for the Brumbies)
9. Matt Giteau
10. Berrick Barnes/Matt Rogers
11. Lote Tuqiri
12. Steve Larkham
13. Stirling Mortlock
14. Caleb Brown
15. Chris Latham

I like that side, except for Brown. Too young for mine. Shepard should get that spot for mine.

You sure you didn't mix these two guys up bro? Sharpe is one of the most overrated players in Australia, whereas Vickerman is our best hope of having a competitive lineout.

Brown looks to be a real talent, quicker we get him in the better. Fainifo and Stapleton could be dark horses too. All down to next years Super 14.
