Tim Allen was the off duty police officer Matiua hit which was whom I was referring to and you replied that they did identify themselves.

Chris Walker hit a female police officer. Not Reni Matua. I never stated that Matua hit a Woman police officer or that they were identified as such. I was talking about the Walker case not the Matua one. So we were talking about different cases. I had heard the name Tim Allen before as a cop that busted a league player so when you put in Tim Allen I just assumed he was the one that busted Walker.

No matter where you are in Australia the courts tend to through the book at you for assulting a police officer

he was off duty. Did he identify himself as one?

Actually it was a she he hit and they were called in so yes he did know they were officers.

And it was in Queensland.
mate,

I have persented you with, what I think are 3 fairly good exmples of Rugby
league player getting lighter punishment, if you dissagree thats fine.

Shephard is a young guy, a two year bond is a big deal. Thats all

A 1 match ban and a $5,000 dollar fine by the Tahs,a slap on the wrist. At least 6 weeks and $10,000.A 2 year bond is a warning not a punishment.
Fair dinkum.

Fair dinkum.
5 times the amount of damage done is to much.
A fine is a warning, a 2 year bond is a massive punishment.

What has the value of damage to the car to do with the fine imposed by the Waratahs. Its the act its blatant vandalism.Anyone else in the public who was not high profile ,would probably have got weekend work to do for the authorities at least. The fine imposed when you are earning a damn side more than the average bloke is a pittance. If I damage a VW therefore I should be fined less than if it was a Jag.
Its not what you know its who you know IMO.Union mates of mine reckon he got off lightly, and should have been sacked from the Tahs squad.

That punishment is a bit harsh.......

Could you imagine if it was a rugby league player, he would have got
a club fine, slap on the wrist and some counselling.

.

So you think the judicial system is biased against RU players?

No the judicial system can be unfair to anyone not just RU players.

You implied in an earlier post it is generally more favourable to RL players. So now you think it could also be unfair to RL players??

It could be, I personally have not seen
an example of it happening yet, but you never know.....

Mate after I have had my car, scratched the full length by a supposed Manly supporter years ago after a match against the Sharks,I have a problem with vandalism.Do you think i was thrilled ?
I dont care whether they are union, league, darts, ballet supporters I hate willfull damage. You seem to have a problem because I dare to criticise a union player.Fair dinkum are they above the law ?Its like burglary invading someone elses property.
I have seen enough stupidity with a few league players and have registered my disgust, perhaps you should open your peepers and see the real world . My problem is with law breakers full stop,if that hurts tough.
