5th tackle options is whats stopping us from beating teams by 20.

Agreed. I think I give my point to Fien on an almost comparitive basis, he was average last week but this week he was good, he does have a knack for finding the dead ball line too frequently but it's a damn sight better than the patented Rovelli manouvres of the useless bomb and 4th tackle surrender.
However Fein uses the grubber effectively and when he keeps the ball low he finds space with it really well. The two major things holding the Warriors back from consistently thrashing sides is 5th tackle options and defensive lapses which brings us to....

all mtrs 205
16 runs
33 kick return mtrs
23 tackles

cant argue with the stats (courtesy nrl)

You're right, those are good attacking stats, no doubt and he'll rightfully stay in the side from a good attacking game. His tackles made is even decent, but when they create the stat for terrible defensive reads with the baffled facial expression of George Bush with a rubix cube then we'll get a more fair examination of JRo's game.

Exactly. If you don't try to make a tackle you don't get scored for a missed tackle.

Manu made 3 errors in that game, more than anyone else in either team.
He also juggled it and came Very close to dropping it near our line on two occasions.

Sure, he made 2 offloads - one of them was in our 30 and early in the set. A typical Manu panic-as-tackled offload, which usually cost us possession.

He ran too upright into 3 large Broncos right by the sideline and got bundled across it, once again early in the set, totally bungling one of our first attacking opportunities.

Managed to make 2 whole tackles - how many do you think he mis-read?
The only good things Manu did were a couple of easy hit ups and 3 tackle breaks... Ropati had 9 and Wade had 7.

If he has another game like that next week, I would drop him for Kirk. Assuming Kirk's fitness. Now there is a solid, reliable player who never has ridiculous brain explosions.

Those misses by Witt were terrible. I almost wished Hohaia was kicking. He won us a game with a high pressure kick recently. Witt was pretty good in general play IMHO, but if he has any plans to remain at 6 next season, he's going to need the 90% strike back too.

I'm sure Witty will get his groove back, the injury had affected his rhythm!

if ivan picks him, hes going against his own rule, dont change a winning team. so if he is named, cleary has fallen for the ravinator.

What is it with Fai that people like aside from his attacking power because he does not know defense, in fact he is as bad as ropati on defense. At least Ropati is more consistant with catching and passing the ball, Fai is a bowling ball once he gets the ball its run straight knowing it is going to take at least 3 to bring him down.

I am sorry but if anyone caught the U20s game Fai kept getting turned around, they scored most their points down his side. Ropati = better then Fai (for now) until Fai can hopefully develope a more defensive mindset and better footwork when defending.

Some mental defect called Brad Walter at the SMH gave Witty 5/10 for last weekend's game. Only Swann got the same.

Arsehole. :x
