FROM www.rleague.com

It has been reported in New Zealand that star Warriors forward, Ali Lauitiiti has been released from his contract and wont play again for the club again.

This is tragic news for Warriors fans, and a sure fire sign that all is not well in Warriorland.

More to follow as more concrete news comes to hand.

Why would he come to Cronulla when the Roosters can offer $10 a week under their cap?

He has been out of form this year coming back from injury, but still a great player.
Was any reason given as to why he was released?

Im sure we have quite a lot of cap space left, he is a superb player if he can reach the form of previous years that would be something. I know it's already been pritty widely reported already but ill hold my breath till something is official first. I cant imagine there's to many clubs that have space to sign him. Maybe the Raiders, Rabbbits, and Sea Eagles apart from us have the cap to sign him.

If he could find form he could help out the pack a heel of a lot imagine what it would do for Stevo, Beattie, and co. Not to mention how much it'd help the backs.

Come on Barry and Steve sign him.
