we shouldve been alot more comfortable (if kidley had made those kicks) instead of being so edgy
i was going so crazy at the pub
and i was getting so nervous.

was mcmanus playing centre for a while at the start? because mcmanus wasnt running from dummy half at the start, and wasnt on the wing
actually houston was on the wing....i was getting confused

Faaoso was good, always looking threatening.
hahaha, it was funny watching wicks having a go at jesse.
mullen was dangerous all game, good call to pass for the second mcmanus try instead of kicking.

cross and taufua were kind of weak.
but our second row kicks arse!
love it!!
cant wait for the dragons!!!

FTR the refs were escorted off the field last week also, I just dont remember if there were boys in blue last week or just N.E.S.

I don't know about the rest of you guys (and girls), but usually I'm over the moon when it comes to the Knights winning. But after the game today, it was kinda like we lost - while I was happy with the fact we won, the issue with only playing for 60 minutes reared its ugly head again. The refereeing in the second half was diabolical against us (the "no-advantage" rule just before the Warriors 2nd last try (I think?) was nothing short of, well, diabolical).

Mullen came on again and showed that when it comes to our halves, he is head and shoulders above Dureau and Rogers - we looked far more dangerous when he was on the park. As for the Dragons game next week, honestly I can't see us getting within 10-14 points of them.

Really really sh*t game I thought.

Knights completion rate would have to be up there for the worst, not only this season but of all time!

Gidley shouldn't be goal kicker any more too, it's costing us, we could have been up 30-12, and that would have most likely turned into 40-12 but instead the Warriors were still in it and almost stole a win, and probably should have.

Dureau was a bit of a dud, I don't think there is any use for him any more unless Rogers or Mullen get injured.

What was the crowd any way? looked to be about 18-19k to me?

And now im starting to get concerned with our fitness, what is with us? We need to start stopping offloads.

Paterson was shocking I thought, fair enough 1st game back, but he hasn't been good in any game.

And finally, Dragons are next. This will be a good test, although I think we're in for a touch up, Dragons 30 - 10.

I was at the game and I told my mate that I reckon the crowd was around 13000. The ends were only half full and there was plenty of NZ supporters around. I thought it was a poor effort by the knights supporters.

WTF, serious? Looked a lot better than last week!

I thought it looked less than last week, but I never thought the Knights would post anything less than 15,000 even if there were only 13,000 there.

I thought they'd pull a Roosters before they ever did that.


Burraston would be extremely worried after that crowd.

The renovations can't be used as an excuse either. There's still plenty of grand stand seating unused, and enough room on the end hills to get alot more people to the games.

I thought we looked soft in the middle without them. Wicks really is ordinary. Pato must be suffering some sort of virus, he didn't look well out there at all, that toe through for the try he was dead on his feet, we were sitting right next to him and he was really struggling when the ball came out him, pretty sure he'd gone out to the wing for a rest when the ball followed him out there. House and Hilder were good, as was Mcmanus. I think Scotty may be the one to drop out of the halfback triangle next week, we picked up some pace when Mullen came on, and Rodgers was very good till he copped one. Couple of ordinary calls went against us late in the game, particually the refs call try, (I don't think he got it down,) he was short of the line initially, and there looked to be an arm under the ball after that as he slid forward. Choir was good and the crusade brilliant again. Sound system is awfull

Congratulations on a well deserved win, but f**k me, YOU are complaining about the referring? How Gidley or another one of your guys didnt go to the bin in the 2nd half is beyond me.

How Mullen missed out on Dally M points is beyond me. Wayne Pearce was the judge I suppose... wouldn't want another potential NSW halfback getting too much credit and stealing his son's limelight.

Yes, Yes we are.

Kurt didnt go to the bin because the ref wasnt sure of the penalty itself. IMO they were jostling for position and Kurt probably broke the rules, but because the opposition joined the jostling he didnt bin him.

Considering the penalty earlier for tackling someone without the ball, when they infact had the ball in their hands, it was an even out.

none of the trys scored in that game were dodgy - from either side.

But if you class the warriors trys as dodgy - then what about the potential forward pass for the mcmannus try, mullen possibly being held before off loading for the try near the end, and the try that went upstairs for what looked like questionable grounding.

They fit the same criteria.

Oh the early tackle that even the biased Pearce agreed with?

You can not justify gidley not going to the bin. It was a blatant professional foul.

No problem with that one...ball carrying arm never touched the ground, and wasn't in the tackle long enough to be called held

In saying that, I've got no problem with any of the Warriors tries.

Only caught like the last 20 mins of the game, when we were under some fire. Mullen was directing the team mad. Kidley--->Bin and defence was pretty solid. Kemp must be kicking himself. Cant wait till I go home to watch the game.

McManus double? Nearly got another with the bomb catch didnt he? Surely contender for some rep this year no?
