Hello and welcome to the game you have all been waiti for, as the Warriors reserves take on the pride of the North Sydney Bears.

It's a calm, sunny day here at North Sydney oval around 25 degrees. Crowd somewhere in excess of 100 people here to cheer almost exclusively for the home side.

A couple of late changes with Clarke moving to the bench to make way for Tevaga and Ali out altogether.

Back to back repeat sets here by the Warriors as they get a third set in a row after a lovely grubber in goal by Lino forces the dropout.

The home crowd cheers as Gavet charges forward and drops the ball as he hits the defence. Bears scrum 20 out from their line. And now a penalty for the Bears as they march down the field onto attack.

Warriors up on attack and they go the blind side on the right in the last, Allwood showing great determination to barge over and ground it for the first try. Warriors lead 4-0, kick to come from wide out.

Lovely set play from a scrum 10 meters out sees Maumalo stroll over on the left corner, 8-0 to the Warriors, corner kick to come.

Half time and we are still at 8-0. The half was dominated by the Warriors but the score remains close due to two missed conversions and several near misses from the Warriors with a last wayward pass denying them of another try on at least two occasions. The halves pairing of Hingano and Lino along with Allwood have looked the stronger of the players thus far.

Early second half try after the Bears knock on from the first play. Lovely passing out right pits Nicoll-Klokstad in the corner. And a beautiful sideline conversion from Lino sneaks over the crossbar to make it 14-0.

The Bears have their attacking kick charged down and the ball is offloaded to Wells who shows good pace to sprint 60 meters and score in the left corner. Another top conversion from Lino makes it 20-0.

Long range try to the Bears as they run down the left hand edge and offload to former Warrior Neilsen who runs it in under the posts. Little bit of Lousi love in the form of a cheap flop after the try as well. 20-6 to the Warriors with around 15mins left.

And just like that the Bears are in again on the second tackle from the kick off. Long range try down the same left edge results in a try near the posts. Valiant effort from Wells to try and keep them out but to no avail.

Suddenly 20-12 with around 12 mins to go (no clock, hard to tell).

Lucky break as the Bears throw a loss pass. Hingano with a great run, tapping it forward twice, gathering it and then pushing off the defence to score under the posts. Good pressure release after the back to back Bears tries and the boys now lead 26-12.

Another try to the Warriors, announcers call it for Kaveinga out on the right corner but felt it might have been Fusitua. Good run and a barge over try, did well to ground it. Siren goes as the kick hits the upright and misses, final score 30-12!

Nice win for the Warriors in the end.

Takes some of the pain out of yesterdays suffering.

Cheers WithTheDawn.

North Sydney Oval, it's a lovely spot to be on a sunny, Sunday arvo, isn't it? I used to work there in the twilight of the NRL Bears. Gary Larsen, Brett Dallas, Greg Florimo, et al. It couldn't save them.

You'd want to be winning more NSW Cup games with that line up than what Jones is doing.

No mention of Shaun Lane, I presumed he was playing this weekend.
