I'm trying to work out who got more out of the game (remembering that it
was only a trial game). The Eels must be pretty stoked with their effort, given
that, with the obvious exception of Cayless and possibly a couple of others
who will play first grade this season, the team was their Premier League side.
I see also that their Flegg, Matthews and Ball sides cleaned up in their trials
against Manly. They have to be happy with their depth at the mo.
For the Warriors - they got a monkey off their back. Ended their losing streak.
Stacey back in reasonable form. Got a chance to see some of their young blokes
in an actual game situation.
All good for both teams I'd say.
Cheers
