As much as i tried to convince myself i dont think it was.

The last angle showed i thought the elbow went out first.

Still it would be nice to get a bit of luck this seasom.

Yes

The shot from the far camera showed the ball (the bottom of it) below richard's elbo. Now, if you have brains you realise the gravity pulls both of them down at a speed of 9.8ms-2, accounting for air resistence and the forces applied from both Pat AND the bronco's player, it is logical to say that the ball would have hit the ground FIRST before the elbo hit out "out line"

Therefore, a try

The reality is there was sufficient doubt. As such they should have gone wtih the attacking team. That being said I would have been sh1tty if we lost because of a similar try

cheers

Gravity is a force that accelerates bodies with no initial speed at a rate of 9.8 metres per second squared (or 9.8 metres per second per second).
Disregarding air resistance your logic is flawed as both the ball and pat's elbow had initial momentum.

benefit of the doubt to the attacking team, it is as simple as that. You can not possibly expect refs and video refs to have any concept of physics as they have proven over the last couple of months that they are.... FUCCKINNG MORONS!!!

No worries mate, we both know it should've been awarded!!!

I suggest a simple physics experiment involving a high speed projectile (ie a bullet) and a soft spongey porous substance wrapped in a hard bony shell (Tim Mander's poor excuse for a head). I think we all would benefit from such good science!!!! Hahaha

dead set should have got a benifit of doubt try
he looked at it about 12 times no joke
and only looked at 2 angles
so it took him 6 goes each angle to convince himself he went out
:(

Yes I believe it was a try but really we should never have been in the situation of relying on a last minute try to win the game .
Look how many top line Broncs were out .
We were in a situation to consolodate our position in the 8 .
We had trouble holding thier fowards 1 off the ruck .
We couldnt keep the pressure up when we were in front .

Sorry Tiges with so much to play for you didnt make the grade .
If we do make the 8 we need to improve in many areas or the finals may be an embarising place to be .

If i was video ref i would have given it NO TRY

I had no doubt it was no try from the start as much as i wanted it
to be given,i think it was the right decision.

I was more p!ssed off that they didn't go to the video ref in the 66th
min on pat richards other no try and the fact it took 75 mins to wake up

Yes , but as I said previosly it should have not come down to it , we had too much to play for to give the game up so easily .

The previous week Amos Roberts was awarded a try where the ball was grounded simultaneously to his knee touchin the touch-in-goal line.
A 4 point loss better than a 24 point loss i spose.

Yes, I would have. Advantage goes with the attacking side, what's the fuccking controversy? It was an appalling decision. I know no one could say for sure whether it was, in reality, a fair try or not, but that ambiguity in itself means it should have been rewarded. Benefit of the doubt goes with the attacking team. A guaranteed finals spot was snatched from us by yet another shitty call.

I am truly outraged at the decision, there is no way possible you could call it clearly as no try.

His arm touched the line when the ball hit the ground.....even though the view was obscured the ball hit the ground.....we saw everything mander saw....He CANNOT be 100% certain its no try, impossible.
The week before Amos Roberts grounds the ball and knee hits touch in goal same time>> Vid ref>>TRY!

????
Why not us?????

Don't you think I wanted it to be a try as well??
But when i think back at that try together with the Senter try(double movement)i just feel that people here are commenting with there heart and not there head.
