Does anyone know where you can watch live games or replays of games while overseas? I'm hoping someone knows of an internet site that will show replays or maybe streamed 9/Foxtel NRL games.

I'm heading to Taiwan for a few weeks and want to keep tabs on the action.

Most countrys ive lived in get one game a week on cable and live games are usually an impossibility unless youre somewhere like the UK or Ireland. Youre always in with a shot though if you can find an australian bar. If youre lucky, you'll get a good connection on the NRL site and can watch it the next day online.

Carnegies used to show the odd game...not sure if they still do, but worst case scenerio is that you'll miss the game but still bag some Chinese lovely.

how do you do that?

1. Google for a website that has free proxies for everywhere in the world. Most websites tell you the country the proxy belongs to.

2. NFI what browser you use, but IE and FIREFOX have options for proxy servers. When you fill in the details, your browser will tell each website you visit that you come from a certain country, via a proxy server.

Yes this tactic is used to hide your identity, but it also can be used to access areas related to certain countries too. No, i never worked for ASIO, it used to be common knowledge not that long ago.

Ok here is the deal. I lived in Korea for 2 years so I know all about this.

Australia Network is a free to air satellite station shown all through Asia Pacific. It used to be called ABC AsiaPacific. They show 2 league games per week which are usually one of the channel 9 Friday night games (on Sat morning) and the Sunday arvo game on a one hour delay. Go to the website to get the exact times www.australianetwork.com

They show the Aussie network at all major hotels.

Outside of this, you can download all games off Bigpond 24 hours after they have been played.
