So much for Kaz's theory:Broncos don't need or buy other juniors

I'm sure the Broncos would happily stop doing it if other clubs left theirs alone.

Watkins never cut the mustard at the cowboys anyway.

That doesn't mean much, Reynoldson didn't make the grade at the Broncos.

Well we have to follow the other teams. *cough* Knights

What happened to the Knights junior base.

We got accused of signing Gary Tupou from NZ Junior Rugby Leauge.

Even though Tupou played Union before we signed him.

I notice the vultures from other clubs are at the QRL Grand Final.

They must be over the slaery cap now

whats a slaery cap? and can you ever have enough or too many slaeries?

You must be looking forward to Singo taking the Bears to union, that way your club could be one of the first if not the first to have sucked at both codes.

they didn't suck all the time? at least the bears had tradition

The Broncos are still young, and still here.

How many years between drinks for the Bears? they sucked often enough.

Maybe he meant the celery cap.

one does need a celery cap though, when you put peanutbutter on celery you can get carried away and do need some sort of restraint.

Gary Tupou actually played for Eastern Tornadoes in the 2003 Bartercard Rugby League competition. Then he played league for the NZ Residents Sevens team this year. Union?

He played 13 games last year for the Tornadoes for 9 tries in Bartercard. Straight out of Bartercard.

Your junior base is the size 1/2 of Queensland.
And of course, we're the only team who can get players from that area. It's not like any other team in the NRL has juniors from Queensland.

Oh wait...

 Good call Mad Dogg.

Most Teams in the NRL have a Queensland Cup feeder club!

Broncos: QLD Feeder Club: Toowoomba Clydesdales
Canberra:QLD Feeder Club: South Logan Magpies
Storm: QLD Feeder Club: Norths Devils
Knights: QLD Feeder Club: Burleigh Bears
Cowboys: QLD Feeder Club: Nth Qld Young Guns
Manly: QLD Feeder Club: Wynnum Manly
Eels: QLD Feeder Club: Central Comets
Sharks: QLD Feeder Club: Easts Tigers
Rabbitohs: QLD Feeder Club: Ipswich Jets
Dragons: QLD Feeder Club: Brothers Diehards
Roosters: QLD Feeder Club: Redcliffe Dolphins

The thing I dont get is, a lot people are saying he's a future Aussie test player, but really he's played most of his football in New Zealand, which really means he's a Kiwi.

I've heard from a very good source he regards him as very much a Kiwi. These are probably the same folk who believe he doesn't have a background of Bartercard rugby league but is a union boy.

He'll have nothing to do with Australia or Queensland.
