Honourable mention to You Am I and Dave Graney. agree with BBB, The Cruel Sea were exceptional and I'm impressed that the rhythm section are Sharks fans.
Saw Hoodoos as well at the Hoey. Dave is a crazy mad Sharks man but interestingly he isnt the one wearing the sharkies jersey in the WMS film clip ha.

yeah...You Am I would be my favourite rock band of all time I'd say.
Seen them a squillion times .
Met them / stalked them ...had dinner with their ex wives and ex girlfriends.

It's all quite sickening really.

Tim Rogers recognizes me now.
He always looks uncomfortable when he see's me.

...and so he should :)

That a party at your house Carch or just a normal rehearsal / get together?

That was the bass players 27th birthday party at his house down on the Georges river in Lugarno.
He was just renting. ( next door to pee wee from the Deltones haha. good bloke he is.

That was 20 years ago now.
I forgot he played the double bass... before the living end but around the same time as the Sharp.
He stopped playing it when the Sharp got semi famous.

Nice one Bubby. ta champ. I could never reconcile Damo and his dog Rocket on SBS soccer coverage with the dude in the Rifles. He's a pretty articulate bloke old Mr Lovelock. I still have tinitus though :)

Hahaha Damo is oneofkind, and yes I am mates with him. Kent lived at my place for a long while and when Damo would ring up, and Kel wasnt there, I'd be stuck with him for 30 mins and listening to all his ideas. Funny at first but painful after a while.

Cool. Forgotten how much I enjoyed that moozzik. Spent the arvo youtubing the Rilfles, Lime Spiders, Radio Birdman, the Church, Sunny Boys. Had a great day at work. Bugger the aeroplanes!

Smith st band are ace!

Speaking of 90s. My buddies the HARD ONS, Australia's best 90s band are doing a "revival" type show where they only play their old shit. I'll be there and I reckon bbb will be too. 6 June at the manning bar and only 25 bucks.

f**k EVERYONE went to that GNR gig. It has to be pointed out that not that many big bands toured in oz in those days. I've subsequently been to shows at Eastern creek and it is the WORST.

I will be now!!

This is the best news I've heard all week.

I may get to that Hard Ons sshow as well. They didn't disappoint at the 2012 Dig it Up. And I can remember Ray as a young social work student at Sydney Uni in the 1980s wearing his very creative home made t shirts.

See you there Tommy.

I'm on a train off to see Ed Keupper tonight.
