great band. Saw them NYE with Frenzal Rhomb in the late 90's. epic night.

J Mascis did produce the first two albums. I have the urge to listen to "Let Me Come Over" now...

To be honest though, The Goo Goo Dolls were a much better band when they were ripping off the trash pop of The Replacements on their first few albums so getting your own sound isn't always better. ;-)
