Wayne Bennett signs to coach St George Illawarra Dragons

I'm so happy that Bennett will be joining the Dragons in 09.
But I'm still thinking about 08, is there any coach out there that can take over Browny in a few rounds for the rest of the year, if our football doesnt improve?
I cant wait 2 years for a premiership!

I think you'll find that will be covered off in the announcement - that Brown will definitely be the coach for the rest of the season - beyond then though, it's either Food & Beverage Manager (ala 'Casino') at the Leagues Club, Fox Sports (to accomany 'supercoach' Raper no doubt) or Bennett's lacky if he wants Brown on his staff.

you would think that the senior players would be very worried now. Their best mate isn't the coach anymore and Bennet won't tolerate garbage.

The younger blokes/fringers will have to step up because they know he will be watching.
