Mate Peter Doust has used his last life line by signing Bennett. He was under pressure from the board. If we keep losing players and dont come back to Kogarah, Oust Doust will continue.

btw Well done to the Dragons honchos for signing the best available candidate. I think any of Daniel Anderson, Potter or Millward would have been a step backwards. Bennett is a giant leap forward.

Yes 2005 was not a good look and even Bennett admitted he made a mistake. With Bennett he does not feed the wolves (journos)...where as Brown would be an open book on occasion and would put pressure on the Dragons with his comments.

I really feel for Nathan Brown. His appointment came too early for him. With the right amount of experience he would have been a lot more successful.

Peter Doust take a bow for causing so much grief to your current coach and the people that pay your way.

The signing of Wayne Bennett is a small step in the right direction but if Doust left St George that would be one giant step for mankind.
