No ones saying they are....but please, carry on twisting this into something its not.

i've noticed that people do that when they are arguing BS and the thread is going against them.

go off on a tangent to muddy the waters

And I love it even more when I get them cranky. Settle Johnsy, you'll blow a valve shortly.

You actually think you got me cranky, now thats funny.

You were the one who initiated petty name calling. You have a long long way to go even before I become a tiny bit upset. I see you have moved away from your argument. I'lll take that as you concede. Cheers

Ive thought about the question at work today!

Wayne Bennett is entirely entitled to be less animated than other coaches.

When you think about, his reserved demeanor, is a point of difference which provides interest of itself.

and

We will have to wear it anyway.

Let's see f*ckstick. Just say we take you at your word and accept what you're saying is true, it wouldn't have anything to do with your part in the discussion, would it genius?

Game set and match

Something along the lines of "Tigers Rape girls"
Yeah...journos...they are great

Journos are the salt of the earth ? your the only one to use that phrase.

I am yet to see anywhere, anytime on this forum where i have sung the praises of the telegraph. Your pathetic attempts of twisting a nothing angle would make "uncle wayne" proud.

Just a simple observation that bennett chooses who to talk to in an open manner (bearing in mind he is in the employee of Brisbane Broncos and NRL) i would have thought a good relationship with the media would be an advantage. But then again contempt breeds ignorance, and it is all for there to see the ignorance he displays. Wether it is right or wrong is an opinion for each to make, but it is there.

Bennett has done nothing wrong. But in the same token, he has done nothing that needs praise.

Why is it that hardly any Qlder's are bothered about the incident, and most of the NSWmen are fuming??

What has he technically done wrong?? He attended the press conference. Answered the questions, albeit short and disrespectful. He has done all that was asked upon him.
Never does a coach have to answer the journo's questions with long answers.

And the thing about promoting the game?? He's promoted the game more than most other coaches in the NRL. A single premiership win with the coach's photo in the front page will promote the game more than 24 great press conferences.

fuming??? that may be a bit ott.

Answering them with some common courtesy and respect, no long answers needed, just dont treat them with contempt. I see he is more than happy to give his opinion when he is paid for it (courier mail), are RL fans expected to pass the hat around to make him open up and comment after a game ? If so I would throw in $10 to hear his honest thoughts, not just some childish comment "Yeah", or "Write what you want".

How has he promoted the game more than most coaches in the game, by being a success? A photo on the back page is promotion of the game. FMD that is a new one, why bother about writing articles, just have pictures, that's all you need to promote the game.

Tosser, I suppose integrity and honesty are only virtues of QLD'ers. To even think a person would lie to score some 'cheap' point in an internet forum is pathetic in the extreme. Great work wanker, you have just shown everyone what lies beneath the paper thin veneer workings of a nth qld'ers thought process.

Inbred

hold up, dont paint all of us QLDers with the same brush here and assume we all support that germ. I agree with pretty much everything youve said on this subject and i would hate for my clubs coach to have such a childish attitude when it came to doing his job as well.

Would never think of it charles ;-) , I only use a line like that because many QLD'ers hate it.

It all depends what the picture represents. If the picture represents victory to a club in QLD that beat all the other non QLD teams to the Grand Final, it would promote the game more in QLD and to QLD fans, than him answering questions for 24 rounds about things that the press already know.

So if benefits no-one outside qld, screw it ?

Yeah ofcourse:sarcasm: , if you think Qlders only live in Qld and will never move to other locations.

Any league fan would be more enticed by the game by looking at Bennett and how he has achieved what he has through the highs and the lows.

A successful premiership winning coach's photo on the backpage of a paper will give rise to more youngsters wanting to become involved in league than 24 rounds of great answers to question devised by the heartless journo's.

Dumb question..the journos should be asking a bit better questions than that. What is he meant to say..um you watched the game..um you saw how they were....

But the point is that the public aren't interested in what the media has to say.

Of course they saw the game, so what? The fans w2ant to know what WAYNE BENNETT has to say about it.

Journalists don't ask those questions because they don't know themselves, they ask them because it's the opinions of coaches and players that people want to read.

Yeah great coach im pretty sure 99% of broncos fans would be petrified to say hi to him on the streets. I saw Dessy outside the leagues club once said hi to him and he shook my hand and was very polite, i would say hi to Wayne and he would either spit in my face or say " I dont want to comment on that "
