What is this guy's deal?

He's got a serious problem when it comes to calling games... he'll latch onto a run of the mill comment by the main commentator and then just label one side with it the rest of the match. It is that bad that you seriously cringe at the thought that this guy was in charge of the Tigers for ages and then - an ORIGIN TEAM that won games!
A team could be 12-0 up after 30mins and he'll be convinced their tired and won't go the distance... and yet are up 12-0. The same goes with ball control, off-sides etc - the guy just can't seem to come up with an original thought... but geesh he can cliche it up with the best of them.
Just ask Ben 'Believe you me' Ikin.

For what it's worth though, I was astounded at how biased towards Souths he was in his call. And who was the co-commentator, Braybrook was it? Loved the following comment midway through the second half:
"Apart from a Rovelli intercept the Warriors haven't even looked like scoring a try."
I think it was more a case of bias towards Souths than bias against the Warriors TH.
If you want bias from Pearce against a team, watch when he calls Raiders matches. Even better, Raiders vs Tigers matches.
Junior Bunny said:Your all raving on about Wayne Pearce but what about the New Zealand commentators at every home NZ game. Theres more bias there than Kevin Walters on a Brisbane channel 9 game.
