50s and 60s, and predictable failures from overrated duds like Stoinis and Maxwell. Warner barely hits the ball off the square and throws it away, and Smith gets one that keeps low.

Apart from needing a shitload of luck to succeed in a huge chase like this, you need big hundreds and we weren't up to it. Bowling is a massive concern, and there's huge pressure on the opening quicks to run through sides or it inevitably makes it too tough on the batsmen.

Turner was dynamite in an almost-identical chase in India, but we prefer mediocre duds with nicknames like "oil rig."

Turner plays one innings and he's meant to be selected?

That's just makes him Stoinis mark 2.

The difference between the 2 teams is obvious. 1 player in their side went on and made a hundred whilst one player in our side decided to be a selfish merkin.

dissapointing run chase 36 run win to India

Warner needed to go at least a run a ball, or end up run a ball, you never pick him in the side based on what he did today

Credit to India. Early days though

I am not at all a Warner fan and I didn’t watch all of the match. I didn’t see him batting. That being said, is the criticism of him too harsh? Dhawan scores a ton off a slow start and he played a role, with the more explosive batsmen coming in later. Was Warner trying to do the same? Not his usual role and disrupted by him getting out.

Kohli motioning to the crowd to stop booing Smith and Warner.

I don’t think Smith deserves as much as he is getting, but he and Warner is probably going to get it for a while. It doesn’t really seem to bother them on the park. I’m somewhat worried about Smith’s mental health though.

LOL Nathan Coulter Plod swinging and missing every single slower ball with the bat like a real park cricketer, obvious that 92 the other day was one of the greatest flukes of our generation, this plodder gets destroyed with the ball every game also

Him and Stoinis should jump on the same plane back home together, also Adam Zampa can join them too just because he creeps me out, looks like one of them weirdo kids that won the golden ticket to the Wonka factory

Bring Behrendorf in. We need to strengthen the bowling. Batting might go a bit better not needing to chase as many.
