it was a prediction
it's now a statement

Maybe I'm giving the SBW camp too much credit, but I think this is all by design. He has a history of making sensational decisions that polarize people. When you do that, the people who hate you take as much interest in your "brand" as the people you love you. I personally think that when it comes to sport, polarizing figures are a precious commodity. A large number of the greatest sportsmen in history have divided people's opinions. Still, though, I feel sorry for Harris.
1 other piece to this puzzle, apparently WC rules state that players must be attached to a Rugby League Club, that box hasn't been ticked off yet
Is it in ANY way possible that SBW really was just so focussed on the NRL that he never bothered to seriously consider the RLWC? That he wasn't given enough time to think about it after the GF by an NZRL who took something of a hard-line stance, and that he really did only realise what he was missing late yesterday?
Would it be the height of naivety to even consider that this scenario was possible? Or is it plausible given that SBW is both extremely focussed and a little bit dopey?
Nice prediction Richie Barnett I mean Meth ;-)
Feel for Tohu Harris, he'll most likely develop into a required player and one day the kiwis might need him, lets hope he doesn't turn his back on them like has been done to him.

LMFAO @ Technical Advisor. He's going to advise how to technically take your opposite number's head off like he done to Gasnier.
I do think Kearney and the Kiwi selectors haven't handled the Matai situation well over the years though.
Kearney's 1st game as coach I think it was, it was stated on 40/20 by 1 of the selectors that Matai and Sa'u were "too small" for international footy so we went with SKD and Mannering. Kearney was never gonna pick him after that. But as you say we have been over that lol
