Long way to go but here’s hoping we get to a stage when anfield, elland rd and the etihad are staging games again.22,000 mark passed this morning. With the BBC set to broadcast it live together with Sky, its slowly returning to its event status.
Poms getting it right huh?
Almost sold out
Wigan under their new owner have turned a corner
Wouldn’t mind if they win it either
No it wouldn’t have. The DW stadium with just over 24k tickets on sale has yet to sell out.
Should’ve been played there would’ve sold out
Why not at Wembley lolLong way to go but here’s hoping we get to a stage when anfield, elland rd and the etihad are staging games again.
Hope so

In the south. Why not at Wembley lol
Different time and different game back then sadly.Where are the days when Wigan attracted 37k vs Manly @ central park in 1987. This record by Wigan will never beaten.
It’s asking a lot for Wigan fans to be expected to traipse over to Manchester in winter for a night game.COM Stadium wouldn't have sold out (it holds 53.5K), but it would have attracted a bigger crowd than DW Stadium.
DW got to 20K pretty quickly, sales have only slowed down because only the less popular parts of the venue are available. It possibly would have got to 30K relatively easily, though I can understand why Wigan would rather play at DW.
Gotta be a first time for everything. What's this, their 4th attempt ?I still expect a Panthers victory despite the cold weather they will experience there
