Sydney Roosters could rack up 80 points against St Helens next weekend unless the English team dramatically improves its attitude, according to their halfback Luke Walsh.
As the tricolours set up camp in Dubai – where the self-governed rugby league is illegal – and the majority of Brisbane's World Club Series squad arrived in London, the Roosters' opponents sunk to a shock 44-10 Super League defeat at Salford.
Making matters worse for the team flogged 39-0 by South Sydney last year was a knee injury to centre Mark Percival and the likely unavailability of hooker James Roby (ribs) at Langtree Park on Friday night.
The stage seems set for a confidence boosting outing for Trent Robinson's side, which has been pummelled by the Mitchell Pearce affair and an injury to Boyd Cordner during the off-season.

"Our attitude was off … they'll put 80 on us. They're a great side, the Roosters, and we have to be 10 times better than we were tonight," former Penrith half Walsh told Fairfax Media at AJ Bell Stadium after the heavy defeat.
"And I think we will be.
"Hopefully Robes is a chance. Having a look at Perc, he's no chance. Robes will be touch and go."
Coach Kieron Cunningham said: "We didn't approach the game with the right mindset.
"You could smell an air of complacency about the place before the game and I said to the staff I was a little bit worried about that.
"We'll respond next week. The disappointing thing for me as a coach is that we actually thought we got some consistency into the place."
Friday's match is intended to mark the 40th anniversary of the first World Club Challenge, played at Sydney Sports Ground between the same clubs.
On Saturday, old enemies Wigan and Brisbane square off for the second year in a row at DW Stadium while the World Club Challenge pits North Queensland against Leeds at Headingley.
Australian referee Matt Cecchin is tipped to get the nod for that clash.
At Heathrow, Broncos back rower Alex Glenn made it clear NRL players still see the six-team tournament as a pre-season trial when the side arrived without coach Wayne Bennett and his posse of All Stars.
"We still see it as a trial. But in saying that both teams have a lot to play for, everyone's fighting for positions," New Zealand and Cook Islands international Glenn told AAP.
