Would have been nice for our strongest team to have had a hit out before we went over.
In the first half (aside from Kings F/up) we looked a bit off.
However, second half Manly had the upper hand for the first 20mins. We had our chances, Leeds held us off and got us in the back end.
That intercept didn't help either. Always good if your mob pinches 1 of those from the other end.
Superior club, well you won so you'll always have the ability to brag, but there are fundemental differences in the NRL and Superleague, when it comes to rules etc.,,,not excusing Manly, but shallow in-goals less emphasis on play the play.
We play under NRL rule not SL rules. Footballers are not smark enough to teach in a short passage.
Of course we care. When its your club team you care, except for if it's Manly , we need that hate from both sides of the globe. Wish Lussick started a stink though, that would make the game really important.
