Today reports have been made that THE COWBOYS have come into play in a big way for Berrigan.

I think this is good news, it means he is a real chance of leaving the broncos, and also that he is also a good chance of leaving Brisbane itself........

We have to get him to leave QLD which is another hurdle again but certainly the option is obviously still there if the offer is right.

Piss the willie idea off for $500K a year and give Berry $300K which would triple his current deal and leave us $200K for another forward from somewhere...where I dont know !

then build around him, Bk, Dykesy, Bails, Gall, carrot top, Williams, Quigley.
next year will see Gasnier, Cooper, Gidley, Galea, Smith, Monaghan, & a host of others off contract.
2007 is the year to aim for.
Buy him & they will come.

Interesting about Payton, although I'd prefer davico who is looking for a 2 year deal, Ryan Ohara is one we missed, he went to tigers this week.

Exactly black dot. And what is the point of signing a marquay (spelling?) player in order to attract others if there is no room under the cap to fit the newcomers in?

I know exactly how much 5-6 is.
Its half of 1-1.2
Its also the same amount that will be available again next year when we have to resign a few players & get another.
Does anybody really think that in a world where vision snippetts are counted & calcualted for their worth that Willie is not worth 200-300 alone just in exposure??
He is a fuggin bargain.
