Hmmm I've done the maths....The most important result for us is for the Tigers to win tomorrow and then the Sharks to beat the Cowboys next week, I think that's our best bet, but we're staring down the barrell of the dreaded Roosters week 1 of the semis.

there is only one way for us to make the finals, assuming we beat Souths:

The loser of Tigers vs Cowboys need to lose again in round 26. (and if sharks beat cowboys by x points, then we have to beat souths by x - 2 points)

GO THE COWBOYS! I am hoping they get up today, then newcastle beating the tigpies next week.
Another miracle i am hoping for in the warriors nocking off the roosters today, although i concede i am asking too much.
If we do make it, i think i would prefer to play the dogs week 1, we seem to have a better record against them, we have been somewhat of a bogie team to them in recent times.

Hopefully they'll come back to Earth with a thud. They must be on a bit of a high after that result, although listening to Joe Williams in a post-match interview he didn't seem too happy at all.

In any case, I'm glad next week's game isn't merely a formality - we've got something to play for and I'll be cheering my guts out.

Personally, if we were to make the finals I'd rather to do it over the tigers and not deny the Cowboys their first finals berth. But I think the Sharks have a better chance of beating the Cowboys than the Knights have of beating the Tigers. So I guess I should go for the tigers today, but I won't be too upset if they don't.

totally agree. i thought the same thing even before they did the broncos. just turning up against the bunnies will not be enough, however they're a much worse team away from home.

I thought they would of been showing up the last month when we've needed one win to tie up a finals spot. I still don't think we're any chance at the finals. We've shown we can't win by more than 10 points, so IMO whoever wins the Sharks vs Cowboys will get in. Sharks are only 2 behind us on differential.

I think if we qualified it could give us a somewhat unrealistic view on the season. I sure hope we work on some attacking plays this summer.

the cowboys booked their place in the semis today with a good win over the tigers. I think that the Tigers still have the best chance to make the 8. They should probably beat the knights even though the knights are at home. I believe that Souths are really going to be up for the match next weekend, it's going to be a tough contest for the Raiders. The cowboys at home should beat the sharks on current form but, anything is possible. It's been a mediocre year to say the least for the Raiders. I doubt a week1 finals exit will do anything to disprove that.
