....and should not be in first grade again this year.

I was on his side before tonight but there were a stack of 70/30 decisions we should have got that went against us. He is kidding. We were borderline spastic but he has got to go. He left us with no hope....although i admit our players were worse than he was. Goodbye 2004, god help us 2005.

Oh no, we suck again!!!

I don't blame the ref, as i said we stank. But I think the refereeing of Steve Clark stopped us from getting back into the game. I know I'm biased but with sonmeone else in charge I really think we would have got back in it....Althugh like I said we stank....It was our fault, but I really thin he hindered us getting back in the game. Even if we play out of our skin (which we now need to do to make the 8) we will not have an impact. We are Go0oooooooooone as much as it pains me to say it

Clark is a dead set useless piece of f**king shit....maybe he didn't cost us the game, but he cost us any chance of getting back into it!!!!!

The Warriors interfered with just about EVERY play the ball - but Clark did NOTHING....every f**king little thing we did wrong he was onto - yet he let the Warriors get away with frickin murder.

And why the f**k didn't the useless merkin give that meat head who started hacking into Stapo near the end of the game 10 mins in the bin?...christ all mighty - the guy has gone off like a frickin moron cos he got a little slap in the face when Stapo was trying to push him off - he's let half a dozen big punches fly and what happens???? - f**kING NOTHING!!!! - tells him he has gone completely over the top - BUT NO SIN BIN, NO REPORT!!!!!

Clark is a dumb merkin - simple as that!!!!

BTW - I did not write "merkin" - I used the C word repeatedly cos his performance was digraceful!!!

Strider, during the game I called Clark a cheating C*** about 60 times. While, after cooling down I realise he didn't cost us the game, I still fell he cost us the chance we deserved ( insaying that we shouldn't have been down 18-0 at half time so you really can't judge). Look, we were Shite, but we were better than the scoreline said. I'm not a one eyed EEL fan, one eye is blue nd the other GOLD and I will never apologise for it, I was born that way.....bring on those days again!~!!!

Clarke was awfull but we did end up winning the penalties 10/9 and would have still found a way to lose even if we had 10 more.

I'm pretty sure that every game we've won this year there have been threads started about the ref *yawn*

Care to pinpoint some of his supposedly incorrect decisions and I might continue the discussion.

The only clearly bad call that I can remember was the farcical awarding of your second try.

Actually given the bad press in the Gorden Tallis v Ben Ross affair Im sure the NRL issued instructions that the referee had to come down heavily on any player who punched on.

I see that Steve Clark may have missed that piece of advice.

He WILL be back in PL next week.

both the ref and parra sucked....a good example was sideshows first try...benefit of the doubt????? but really it summed up our season, bring on 2005.....we are getting worse every year now....

If Clarke was so bad re Parra, where was our captain in pleading our case?

Daniel Wagon = failure.

Which was correctly ruled no try. A quick definition for you, you must HAVE the ball with downward pressure to get a try; dropping the ball is no good.

The second try for Peterson was a super strange call, how Brent Webb had any advantage from picking up a knock on on his own try line in wet weather is strange, infact as Thierry points out, that was farcical. The sooner they clarify the advantage rule the better because there is no way in the blue hell the Warriors got an advantage from the Parramatta error. Whereas the one that went against Peterson before that, advantage was correctly applied because from the knock on broken field play there was a huge chance of scoring a try, infact the line was open from it.

Better luck next time; just a tip, before you continually rip into your halves as I've noticed has happened on other threads, how about ripping into Vella and Pearson. Sorry, but I've not seen Paleaaesina dominate a game like that in a year or so. It says something about your defensive strength and lack of line speed that he continually made 15-20 metre hit ups. That sort of lack of go-forward would make it hard for any halves combination.

Peterson still had downward pressure. At no time was there ever day light between the football and his hands. Also Brent Webb didn't knock the ball on he had it stripped, therefore advantage is over.

Yes I actually thought Sideshow had downward pressure on the ball in the first try... anyway if there was any doubt - the benefit SHOULD have gone with the attacking player !

You are right about Vella and Pearson. Sterlo and Vert would have struggled with that pairing tonight! Remember when we had bookends?????

Forget the referee, he didn't make us drop the ball all night.

No, of course not.

But he WAS the moron with the whistle who, on more than one occassion, ruled the SQUARE MARKER to make tackles on players when they apparently weren't square.

We did totally suck.

But this ref was a disgrace to the sport.
