PRITCHARD, GALEA AGREE TO TERMS
Jun 28 - Frank Pritchard and Danny Galea have agreed to terms with Penrith.
Frank will remain with Penrith for at least the next three years and Danny for at least two, Football Operations Manager Michael Leary said tonight.
"It's great news," Mick said. "Frank would have to be one of the most sought after players coming off contract and it is good to know he wants to stay with Penrith.
"Danny is a fine player with a lot of potential and we were anxious to keep him."
We'll have more details later.

I'm just glad Pritchard didn't end up at the Roosters. Amos Roberts looks more and more unlikely to stay at the Panthers now that Pritchard has re-signed. Amos wants to test his worth on the market after after June 30 so he'll go where ever the dollars are. He may want to re-join his old team mate Piggy if the offer is tempting enough...

Thats a shame - Frank would have been handy.....altho I am liking Afa more and more all the time - i thought he was very good towards the end of the Penrith game - when he got some time on the field

I think that was inevitable! Would rather see morrison in the second row, with jack coming off the bench!!! We need an experienced 2nd rower like morry...as he is a great player and with hindy it would be a benefical learning curve towards our younger players!!!

Why Does everyone think Amos Roberts is off contract...im sure about 2 weeks ago he resigned with the Panthers...it was the last thing The CEO did before taking off to Souths

It's been a hot rumour, but I would love for it to be true... ;-)

He has not yet re-signed.

"I spoke to my manager last week and he said he has spoken to Penrith and they haven't got back to him yet" "So I'm going to go to the 1st of July and see what is around and I'll let my football do the talking" Sunday June 27th

yeah Wesser looked certain to test the market then re-signed. Probably woulda been different if they struggled. I still think Amos will stay with the Panthers but I think we should at least make an offer.

A bit off track from the Panthers side of things but today listening to brisbane radio theres a big chance tate could be an eel as he is not happy with the ponys contract offer and is leaning towards a switch to parra

Well Pritchard seems to love Penrith so good on him, I'd rather see players stay loyal for less then go elsewhere for big money, even Parramatta.

eels fan, I thought Amos had re-signed as well, I think Shane Richardson said his priority before he left Penrith was to sign Amos up. One of the weekend paper's quoted him saying he hadn't re-signed though. Hope June 30 comes before he does re-sign, he'd be worth a crack.

I agree mate, Morrison should be our priority but there hasn't been any talk at all about him lately so I don't even know if we're chasing him or not? :?

I've said it from day one that a Hindmarsh/Morrison second row pairing will be devastating. If we're willing to throw a lazy $300k at Riddell then we should be willing to throw the same Morrison's way.

That's promising news, let's keep our fingers crossed :p

I said in a post a week or so ago that if we ended up with Riddell, Morrison & Tate i'd be very happy indeed.

I'd say more the opposite. After spending 300k on Riddell there isn't enough cap room to go throw another 300k at another player. I'd like to see him at the club though.
