I agree - Blair could be this teams killer. His contract could mean better players leave us and we don't get the opportunity to sign players of sufficient quality to replace Ellis.

I think a fair question to ask would be if we were at full strength with regards to injuries does Blair make the team.

I think our best backrow at the moment would be something like:-

13. Fulton

Whether he is over rated or not, Gus Gould was right the other day when he said it should take a while for a player to leave the Storm system and join Wests. Nobody knows what Benji is going to do next, you're unsettled at halfback and fullback, the hooker has missed two games and the best prop has missed 4. Fans are saying Blair is sh!t and Blair is probably wondering when the hell Sheens will settle on a lineup so he can learn how they play. Benji chip kicked from his own 20m last weekend and Blair would never have seen a Storm player even think about that in his entire time down there. He's probably wondering wtf is going on as much as the fans.

Maybe he is that big - I don't know. Put it this way though he isn't running over the top of people out there and he doesn't look like as big as someone like Ellis.

I'd love to be proven wrong and for him to play like a gun. Last week I thought he was good but to me he simply isn't a top echelon player. To me he looks like an average first grader. Maybe he is a bit better than that but not by much.
