`Guess we'll hear the usual bullshyt after half time e.g. I told them: `Forget the first half, just win the 2nd. half' or `Go out and enjoy yourselves this half'.
It'd be bloody nice if the coach could get them prepared for an away game before the game instead of having them daydream about last week inside their big heads.
Even though he is relatively ineffective, Noddy at least gets an `A' for effort.'

I just watched the first half again to see if we played as bad as the scoreline suggested. I don't think we did and I feel a lot better than I did after just hearing the result. We had some real dud calls go against us and bugger all possession in that first half. As Carch pointed out, Clark was an arrogant prick and Noddy was well within his rights to question some of them. I thought Noddy was very restrained and, I know that if it was me, I would have been sorely tempted to put that jumped up little prick (Clark) on his ar*e. We missed Stevo's prescence there, no question, and I hope he is right for next week.

My initial reaction after watching the game was disgusted, but my later reflections on the game were a bit similar, Freezer. Though not good, I didn't think we were quite as bad as I first thought. I thought early Clark rulings turned the game against us. Clark seemed to try to square the ledger later in the 2nd. half.

Clark was definately swayed by the crowd. Evertime we passed a ball they called for a forward pass, everytime we tackled them they called for a penalty. Bailey only had to be within cooee of him and he penalised him. We were playing against the 21,999 crowd not much for the 1000 of us sharks fans to cheer about.

yes the ref was very intimidated by the crowd to the point of incompetancy

but thats what happens

i have seen the same thing happen at shark park against visiting teams

Surely that's something that the League should look at. Tim Mander made an obvious mistake at the weekend. They are professionals too and should be more accountable for their errors and not be swayed by crowds no matter where they are.
