We won without ...

Just thought i'd mention that we won a game against a side that had won three in a row and was playing good footy without Johns and Kennedy in the side.
We all know that, but it would have seemed next to impossible about a month or so ago, and not many of us even had a doubt we would do it this week.
The team has come a long way in a month. Hopefully it is just the start of the journey.

I think we missed Kennedy yesterday, however I'm of the opinion that even without Johns in the side (we've had long enough to accept that he's just not coming back this season) anything could happen.

I would not get to excited. The Knights beat an out of form Warriors, an under strength Dragons and the Cowgirls. Also were beaten by less than creative Canberra who just played one off the ruck footy. It's not looking good for Roosters

We might get beaten by the Roosters BUT we'll give them a run for their money the boys are finding form at just the right time and we have a strong line up for that game so I'm excited about the clash, don't count us out yet the roosters have to lose sometime and it just could be next weekend ;-)

There's always one of you in the crowd.

Let's not forget the atrocious conditions in Canberra that day, which I am sure would have favoured the Raiders!

Does anyone know if Kennedy had a word to a few of the forwards at half time yesterday? Perry, Parsons and Simpson came out on a mission after the break.

If we are going to have any chance of winning Kidley's last tackle options will have to greatly improve. He found the wing and fb on the full to often and his short kicking game was poor. Don't get me wrong I want nothing more than the knights to win, but in my opinion it's not looking good.

Yeah Kidley's kicking game is not spectacular. I noticed that yesterday, his short game was too long and some of his bombs are just speculator's. I think he is trying to imitate Joey in the kicking department and it's just too hard. He should play his own style.

He'll need a better kicking game if he is to upset that count dracula looking Minichello character.

It was still a great effort yesterday.

The thing that gets under my skin is that the knockers who go on about us not being able to win without Joey is how many of those games did we otherwise have a full strength team on the paddock? Not many.

The Knights are definatly going to be a force to be reckoned with in the semis and the Roosters had better watch out especially if Freddie isn't 100%

Well you know what happens to them when Fittler isnt playing, they are worse than we used to be without Joey.

His kicking game against the Warriors was sensational. It just wasn't as good on Sunday.

Johns is the best of the best when it comes to kicks in play, so Kurt SHOULD BE trying to copy him. All half-backs should be.
