Weather for Sunday

Don't want to freak anyone out, but I just checked out the forecast for Sunday and it don't look good.

Heavy rain with strong possibly gale force southerly winds. I've already got tickets for the game and am going with my missus, my brother and his 4 & 6yr old kids.

The Eastern Stand was pretty close to being sold out on Tuesday when he got his tickets so there could be a lot of wet cold bodies come Sunday afternoon.

Spewin'!! Could wreck what was shaping up as the best home game of the year.

They are forcasting a virtual cyclone on Sunday, there was a guy from the weather centre at Williamtown on 2HD this morning talking about it, didn't sound good.

Just heard a weather update. Sunday..Cold gale force winds, Rain, snow on Barrington Tops, and a flood warning for the Patterson river. Sounds like a great day for the Footy.

*Shudders* Nothing worse than sitting at the footy huddled under a tarp attempting to watch the footy with rain and wind smashing you around.

Mind you not that it would stop me going to the game if I was back in Newie, just dosen't make for a too pleasant experience.

The worst weather I had at the footy was about 8-10 yrs ago when we played Norths. It was that cold and wet that Alby got hypothermia, and me and the old man were drinking Rum and Colas in desperate attempt to avoid a similar fate.
Sounds like this may have all the makings to top that one. Although there's no point worrying about it. Just have to wait and see how the day pans out.

just saw a weather thingy on tv its meant to be a max of 16 degrees so its gunna b a chilly one.... yeah i hate when it rains@ the footy cos if u hav yur brolly up then every1 else bhind u cant c but u need 2 hav it up so u dont get wet lol...... HOPEFULLY THER WONT BE 2 MUCH RAIN... A BIT OF WIND IS OK BUT I H8 RAIN LOL

Basically its going to be a very uncomfortable day at the footy for whoever is going! Snow has been forecast down to 800m on the ranges too

When I wake up in the morning i see what the weather is and i know thats the weather for the day. I dont need people telling me whats gonna happen
