I got married on a Sunday morning in October in 98 and we hired this place for $600

In case you've never been inside - look through the windows for a clue to the venue

PS. They no longer hire out this venue for Weddings unless you hire the restaurant for the reception and I believe it's a little bit pricey

The Wedding car looked like THIS

p9081639_241109_174951.jpg

FJ Holden shell slotted onto a Torana frame with a V8 Chevrolet engine under the hood. Thing set off car alarms going down Castlereagh Street it was so loud

Even a Ford man like myself appreciated that one!

Icebergs at Bondi have a lovely room downstairs with amazing views over the beach

A mate hired it out for a 40th and it was an excellent venue.

Not sure on cost, but just give em a call.

Did you have a location in mind? City? West? South?

probably from parra to fringe of city would be goods

Not a view per se, but the Different Drummer in Glebe has an excellent function room upstairs.

It's Spanish tapas (so loads of little sampler dishes) and Sangria etc.

On Glebe Point Road and I had a ball there the time I went.

That's on the fringe of the City.

I had mine at the Palace down at Coogee, or you could even try the Coogee Bay hotel. Both are near the water, there is foxtel so you can watch the game & when the bar tab runs out everybody can just head down stairs to keep the party going
