Any runs he would've made would've been hit ups
Any half decent halfback runs the ball to the advantage line & engages the defense. It draws the defense in and frees up the support.

Moses prances sideways and dumps off passes to easy targets. He plays in a dinner suit and offers nothing to your attack.

surely you see that😱

Cleary targeted him on that run and just waited for him to make the wrong decision
We were on the back foot. That means it's up the attack. If they get it right then any decision the defender makes is the wrong decision. This is why good playmakers get paid so much. They're the ones who read defensive decisions and turn them into mistakes.

This next game is make or break for BA.

A win he gets to keep his position for another season or 2.

Lose and he must be replaced IF a better option is available.

Tonight, when Moses went off Drown should have taken over kicking and running the plays, but he barely touched the ball. I am assuming this is a BA plan....

Nrown is when fit. Cartwright has been a massive disappointment. Needs to get his head back into the game.
Cartwright has hardly been given game time all year, what has he done when he has played that has made him a massive disappointment? I suspect he's being told to play like Makatoa does when he comes on, or he won't get another game.

I suspect being told to play as unnaturally as he is foe the odd game here and there has shattered any confidence he had too

So…
Good first half, we were in it up to our eyeballs despite Blake’s first half mistakes.
Second half completion was terrible.
Blake was just horrendous
Brown went missing in attack but did defend well.
The bench was so wrong.
I don’t blame JA for anything, I blame his father for putting him under so much pressure.
If we go out in straight sets BA has to be shown the door.
As someone mentioned earlier, most panthers players are so hard to like.

Mrs Palmer.

Apt name for a wanker.

But hey, even though you seem nice and all, why not just f**k off back to the primordial ooze from which you came?

Noted you can’t counter my facts. Nice knuckle dragging contribution from you👐
Moses had zero runs, zero line engagements. you happy with that from your “game manager”😆😆

Getting picked in the 17 doesn't make you a first grader. Isn't that your argument around Jake Arthur? You can't have it both ways.
It does if you have been named 19 games out of a possible 26 FFS. Come on Pou, I know you’re a smart merkin but don’t hold onto a position because that confirms your hypothesis.

But most importantly...the Nana nap worked and you watched the entire game!

We were heading towards being gone before Moses went off…..our competition rate was shocking…..

we were down by 5 when Moses was knocked out, JA came on. And Edwards got a try with Gutho out of position (had nothing to do with JA)….11 behind ….game over…

I can see the JA not ready for NRL argument but tonight was hardly his fault…

he really was only on for 1 try, so our defence hardly turned to shit..,and considering when he came on at the 59 min mark, we had only scored 1 try was completing at less then 70% - can’t really say our attack turned to shit, it was already shit and stayed shit!!

If we want to blame anyone, blame blake… ….while drown, lane , Paulo were average and crucial error’s by Gutho / Sivo ..

I cant believe the nutters are still focusing on JA when Blake was useless. Drown didnt do much. Reed was crap and had 1 good pass. All these guys are on alot more $$$ with more experience but lets focus on JA...

Yes, and he picked out Jake. Who obliged accordingly. It was a really poor read, and the first thing a young half should be learning is to make his tackles.

A lot don't, granted, but hey it is what it is.

So funny, some big names have been poor (Paulo, drown, lane, Blake, Sivo)….our competition rate has been horrible….pretty of errors…

But half the posts are about JA who only came on as our half back was out cold….

But but JA missed a tackle for a Cleary, fair enough…

what about Blake’s errors, Gutho out of position, drown/Marata/Sivo poor read, our middles poor defensive…all lead to tries….

but but but JA missed a tackle for a line break…

talk about an obsession with JA…
Blake has been smashed by all and rightly so
Gutho being out of position is just bullshit that people are regurgitating from Cooper Cronk.
The complaints about Drown being MIA are ridiculous. We didn't go left all night. That was 100% game plan. There is no way the players just decided to not go to our most potent attacking pair in Lane and Drown.
JA should not be in the team. Stick up for him all you like but he is not an NRL player at this point in his career.

13-8. As an analyst, you are being completely unethical now. We were down by 6 earlier in the game and came back.
And we could've come back again if we stayed patient and wore Penrith's defence down, like we did in the first half. But you could see our playmakers were looking for the easy option. They wanted to score quick points, not build pressure. Penrith had good cover defence (inside push) because we stopped forcing their middles to make tackles. This is why I say the tide had already turned.
Don’t be that guy that holds onto a position irrespective of the evidence. You’re better than that.
I am definitely better than your strawman. Cheers.
