and that team will be dispatched in the playoffs by whoever they play.
but id rather see the rams get there than san fran.

heres a weird one.

if the raiders go 2-0
the chargers go 1-1
and the saints go 1-1

then the raiders will win the AFC west. crazy!

When we were down 21-7 it looked like it was going to be a blowout. Thankfully Brees dragged us back into the game and we went close to stealing it. Only concern out of the game was the ease that Ray Rice ripped right through our front 7. Oh well really looking forward to this week against the Falcons.

Oh and I'm fairly certain we'll finish 5th and play the NFC West winner. Not sure whether to be confident or nervous about that D:

great to see some eagles fans getting in these threads and riding these guys
we could on a special season here... with Vick, DJax and Maclin... no team scares me in this league

At 31-7 I thought "this isnt a superbowl team", Vick just couldnt get anything going.
I was just hoping they would make it a respectable scoreline, but what happened was just amazing.
Poor punter though, now i know what type of pressure those guys can be under.
Anything can happen though dont wanna get superbowl expectations yet.

haha yea man i was at work following it on my phone thinking "i hope we can regain some pride here, at least we're only a game behind... win out and we'll get a wildcard"

i had a feeling after the onside kick we'd somehow manage to pull it off

That was as good a onside kick as I've seen (sigh - onside kicks give me nightmares :D)

Michael Vick was like the Madden 11 clone of himself. It was scary. The guy couldn't be touched and I loved every minute of it. I am not so sure that the Eagles shouldn't be fearful of anyone Raider_69, though in a weak NFC, I think you can represent the conference in the Super Bowl. I don't think you have heard the last of the Giants either if they can sneak in.

I tuned in for the final home game of Brett Favre as I am a closet fan and love his gun slinger mentality. I think the commentators over did the Favre praise a little (nothing unusual though) though it was his last game and the soundbytes will be little pieces of history as I think he is done given I can't see him coming back after the head injury.

Chicago are a bit of a dark horse, if Cutler is on, they're dangerous. If he is bad, the team goes with him. Loved the Hester post game interview, loved the emotion. 15 return TD's in only five seasons and a new NFL record (consider again - five seasons! Puts the other brilliant return guys to shame) I hope he continues to build on that record, I think he will definately get to 20 with more on top of that number before he is done which may put the record out of reach.

favre wont be back IMO.

i get the feeling that the NFC will be the eagles vs the falcons in the vick bowl.

but then theres cannon arm cutler.

and they play in the snow.

if the were to jag home field some how (falcons loss) then anything is possible.

i hope its the eagles or the saints representing NFC.

take off you're eagles glasses and answer that seriously raider. The NFC is going through the Georgia Dome. The Falcons can't not be in the Superbowl.

There is no sure thing in the NFL nor NFC Monk. We all know that. The Falcons are rightly the favourite to go to the Super Bowl in the weak as piss NFC, though I wouldn't put my house on it. I believe Raider_69 has every right to feel confident about his Eagles. I mean, they aren't playing well yet still are winning. A good sign. If they click, they might not be stopped on the NFC side.

I rate the eagles speed game in a dome. We've proven we can beat the falcons, Vick, maclin and djax in a dome is tough to beat. Would be one hell of a game though.

Matty Ice doesn't lose at home. So as long as the NFC goes through Atlanta, I'm pretty confident the falcons will get there.

Ryan has lost 3 games in the dome... one of them was against Philly last year. Practically the same team but a better QB.
Mike Vick has played probably about 50 games at the Gorgia dome and was extremely successful there.
The inside stadiums suit the high octane philly offence, with fast recievers and the deep ball. The Falcon's secondary is suspect. And we've beaten the Falcons, somewhat convincingly once already this year

Im by no means saying its a slam dunk (and we have to get their first) nor am i saying the Falcons suck, if it eventuated to that, it'd be a damn tough game to win, and a real toss of the coin, both sides are pretty damn good. But given the above i dont see why i shouldnt be confident of the eagles being capable of going to the Gorgia dome and beating the Falcons.
We are definitely one of few sides capable of beating them in the dome.

Where as in Soldier Field, a team imo, much worse than the Falcons, i dont give us any hope. Vick has never played well there and their D is a tough one to break down, we could have beaten them last start but we didnt and they seem to have a style of defense that troubles us and they contained Vick quite well.

the old saying styles make fights... i think we match up well against the Falcons, but against a lesser team like the bears, we match up terribly, especially at Soldier Field.
Im worried about a rematch with the giants too, sure we've swept them but they should be 1-1 against us and really, the game they lost, they could have stolen it from us at the end if not for Eli's fumble. They'd be a team i dont want to face in the play offs... Saints would be good match up for us i think, as would anyone from the NFCW
