Shame Flynn couldn't pull that off. Nothing against the Pats, just would have been a nice game as he played well minus that last drive.

well, the bad news is the rams were awful against the chiefs and lost miserably. the good news is every other team in the west was just as inept and also lost so the rams are still top dogs in the west. with a 6 and 8 record.

now they have to win their last two games or they're out. luckily they're playing teams just as bad as they are in the whiners and seagulls.

take care of the whiners first.

Completed 8 passes. All game. Contrary to popular belief, he is far from the second coming!

Texans are HILARIOUS! They were a "yakety sax" soundover away from be a true comedy act.

There have been worse pro debuts by first round QB's. I am not in the group that hails Tebow "the second coming" though I won't be stupid enough to come out and mock a first up effort as a starter that let's be honest - wasn't too bad all things considered.

Tebow turned two Raiders turnovers into touchdowns in the first half, scoring on a 40-yard quarterback draw on third-and-24 when he ran through the middle of Oakland's defense. Tebow then threw a ball up for grabs in the end zone that was caught by Loyd for a 33-yard touchdown.

It's also worth mentioning, Tebow became the third player to throw a TD pass at least 30 yards and run for a score of at least 40 yards in the same game.

Great win by the Colts, Manning is back to his MVP old self.

Hard not to be impressed by the Pats in defeating Green Bay. They look the team to beat this season and it will be hard road through New England for anyone in the AFC.

1. vincent jackson and the chargers management have a lot to answer for. he should have been playing way earlier. really could have used him earlier in the year.

2. once again an Eff you to CJ2k. comes back to form when im out of the fantasy playoffs. jerk!
silver lining is maybe they can beat the chiefs.

can cassell have apendicitis again?

3. dan carpenter will be cut. hack

4. so will that punter for the giants.

lol @ arizona. and mcnabb

as for tim tebow. great run for a td. nice throw. glad they lost tho. if the raiders can remain in the hunt for the last week......

bad day for the chargers with the rams losing and the jets winning. i was hoping that maybe if the jets just kept losing that san diego could sneak a wildcard. eff you pittsburgh.

nice win by baltimore. looked to be throwingt it away at the end tho.

pats vs pack

flynn looked alright. then at the end it all went to porridge. pats plyed well and got the win. quality game actually. gotta love one hd.

Not interested in turning this into a Tebow thread as there is already one out there but in response to being called stupid I will add a little more.

No doubt there has been, but how many were from QBs that were as much vaunted as Tebow? (Rhetorical). If 8 of 16 is considered an outing that "wasn't too bad" against a D that, & yes, lets be honest, is hardly putting the fear of God in to anyone then maybe it's time for Ryan Leaf to make a comeback.

That run was his college game & besides his throwing action, which he reverted to as soon as the panic kicked in, is something that he is meant to STOP. Yes it paid off this time & it was good to see, but everybody knows that if you put Ray Lewis, James Harrison or Ernie Sims at the end of that tunnel it isn't going to end like it did in school. To give him credit for the Lloyd TD is a stretch though. It was misdirected & it was only Lloyds effort to play to the whistle that finished it off. While not my idea, he is a purpose built TE in my eyes that just happens to throw a decent ball... Unfortunately they won't fly straight on a regular basis ;-)

I checked it out. Every team in the NFC West lost in Week 2 and again in Week 11, and again this week. Never in NFL history before this year has every team in a division lost in the same week twice. The NFC West has achieved whole new depths of ineptitude this week.

Nice reply barring the stupid Ryan Leaf comment.

The Broncos should have had an additional touchdown on a Tebow connection to Ball in the endzone with five minutes left in the third quarter. However, Ball dropped the perfectly thrown ball, and forced the Broncos to kick a field goal.

Tebow still needs a lot of work (evidenced in the softly, softly play calling I think you will find) though there is evidence to suggest he can make it as a QB in this league.

But then you had tebow to lloyd TD pass that was just a great play by lloyd and should of been picked off, tebow got luck there.

Tebow was average/solid today not great but not terrible either and he didnt turn the football over either

He did show show brillance on that long td run though.

congratulations gotta go to the Chicago Bears. wrapped up the NFC North with the win today.

didnt expect this to happen. thought green bay were a shoe in at teh start of the year however the bears have played some solid football and been lucky with injuries.

Cutler is playing well too.

also hester now has 14 punt/kick returns for TD. NFL record. freak of a bloke

as for the 2010 Minnesota Vikings.

my god.

what a shambolic disaster.

Disaster alright :(

Last year was a dream run and should have been our year, we were out doing the Saints, but sh*t happens :(

I never expected this year to go as bad as it has though. And really early on we had some losses, some very unlucky ones too and once you get bad momentum we never recovered.

i know this will be hard to believe but if the whiners beat the rams next week and the seagulls lose to the bucs in tampa, almost a given, then the whiners have control of the division with only the woeful cardinals at home in week 17 standing between them and the division title. that's enough to make me want to vomit.

of course if the rams win, which they should all things considered (gulp), then it doesn't matter what the seagulls do. the division will be up for grabs for both teams week 17 in seattle.
