Week 2 finals Eels v Souths at Bankwest (and team list)

Tbh the best thing for us next week is to make it a slog with less ball movement. Whilst we like to throw it around as well, we look most exposed in fast movements out wide. A wet night/track would favour us as our forwards have more creativity than Souths if the game is played in the middle.

forecast looks fine though.

the key I think will be getting Lane, Matto & brown constantly running at their halves. Both are fairly poor tacklers, and more importantly if we juice them in D they won’t have the legs to be effective in attack

All you have to see is how clueless the team looks in attack and defence to realise this.

Probably sounding a bit obvious but our advantage is a better turnaround compared to theirs. Souths did look fast but I suppose the Knights made them look good, they have been awful lately.

Lets hope its not a repeat of the 38-0 game.

Btw, this will only be the second time we've met in finals history. The last time goes way back to 1965, we lost in an elimination semi, 17-2.

About as many hypothetical Origin players as we have if you ask our unicorn fans. The problem is hypothetical Origin matches don't provide big game experience for finals time. Arthur described us as dumb last night, and in the context of rugby league, dumb is another way of saying inexperienced. Just like how the Panthers dropped their bundle and scraped home against a busted Roosters side with no dummy half.

reputation means shit, get in there face, look at there 3rd get out plan ,it only comes down to a few crucial minutes, a few moments of time, for each player that can decide the game

It seems like you got half a kit kat in the pants at the start of the season and are now dropping them like a wet turd...worse still you are also trying to create a false narrative by suggesting that those that are still consistent with their pre-season predictions have flip flopped.
