And the cricket welcomes Hong Kong to the ODI club who are making their ODI debut today v Bangladesh in the 2004 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka.

Hong Kong won the toss and elected to bowl first. They have had a fantastic start restricting Bangladesh to 1/22 after 6.3 overs.

Mohammad Ashraful was out caught by Alex French b Afzaal Haider for 9.

Oh and their 'keeper Tim French was born in Australia.

They have a player called Alexander French how is a bit of a bat and bowler who was born in 1980 in HK. Didn't find a player called French born in OZ for them though

Their side seems to be full of pakistani players :-k
