Great article on Benji and his true value to the club. Spot on what most of us on here are saying....he might as well have just quoted a few of us.....

Geez the journos pick up a lot of their stories out of here....Sheens, Blair and now Marshall came directly from here and im sure they get plenty off the other clubs LU forums.

I'm not going to state how much Benji is worth however the article makes some good points.

Benji is no longer that great runner of the footy that he once was. He needs to tighten up his game which he has consistently been unable to do.

He still has 2 or 3 years with us. I see no reason to upgrade his contract now. Lets see how he goes. His game against Canberra was real quality. If he continues playing like that he will be fine with regards to earning more or the same money. In that form he is one of the best halves in the game.

Yeah this is why I get worried about all the criticism we dish out on these forums. At first you think that its just its own private world where we can voice our two cents but this forum is one of the first sites to pop up when you type Wests Tigers into Google. That being said, I'm sure many players have read some of our posts...no wonder they are down on confidence....

Criticism of the likes of Blair and Marshall has been warranted.
They have deserved it....particularly Blair.

The article, and the ones about Blair, was just a reflection of what the majority of the fanbase are thinking.
I dont feel guilty dishing up criticism when they earn it.
This is my club, the shareholders, not their club.
They just come in and play for us who pay their salary.
We have every right to criticise.

Look what the criticism of Blair on this forum did for our team. The papers and media picked it up out of this forum, ran with it and now he is playing out of his skin to prove to people the player he is.

We in the Penrith forum are Sure Wizard man is Rothfield. also in our Forum League Legend was found out to be Kent. Posted exactly as his twitter feed in an argument to the same guy just on here

He will never be the same player but i still think he can offer something but i dont think he wants to play for anything under 800k.
The line break he made and decided to pass it when he felt people coming near him. The fact he seems to be worried about getting tackled then tackling is more of a worry to me.

On the old roosters forum The Wall you would read about a rumour in the paper 2 days after it appeared on the forum.

The majority of "sources" from journo's would come from the forum users.
