That's not active support!! Going to one game which is billed as event is not an active fan. Reds need week in & out fans of which there's less than 10k looking at ratings.
Haha we only get one off games, how else are you going to judge it?
25k plus people arent paying $50-100 to watch nrl if they aren’t active fans
so people going to games isnt an Indication of active fanbase but people sat at home is? Get your hand off it and stop being a coward and take the bet.

Last I checked Newcastle was a regional club

Bulldogs were 3rd worst in the league, below multiple regional clubs

Throw in average attendances and other metrics and these same Sydney clubs slide even further

Tell me again how my statement that some Sydney clubs are no better than regionals was wrong?
So all Sydney clubs were better than all regional teams or all but one regional team. Doggies exception but almost equal to cowboys & raiders & that's being much worst onfield.
You scored an own goal

I was never talking tv, always active fanbase, as you well know. Stop being a coward and back your convictions. If you don’t think there are any nrl fans in perth why are you so afraid to take the bet?

Haha you coward. I’ll leave it here as you’ve shown your true colours you troll.

Bledisoe sold out in Perth yet force struggle (stronger than league is most metrics tho). Do you understand difference between a single event & active fan base?!

You don’t say, which is why I’m predicting a 15k crowd avg for the pirates, not a 60k that turned up at origin lol

if you can’t see why ruggers fans would go to an international and not a stupor rugby game you’re dumber than even I took you for,

So why is some cases are these Regional areas in no other competitions?
Townsville is the only regional market in the NRL that doesn’t share it’s market with another major professional sports team, and the reasons why are pretty self evident.

All the regional markets are more likely to be expansion targets for other leagues in the future than the markets in Sydney other than possible CBD/generic Sydney teams and Parramatta/generic Western Sydney teams.

Now answer me this; why aren’t Manly, Cronulla, Penrith, etc, represented in any other professional competitions?
You’ll never admit it, but we both know the answer.

Same could be said for the AFL suburbs surrounding Melbourne, not all would have their own team in other code, i couldn't imagine a hawthorn, footscray or richmond NRL teams
