In 2021 that’s what they paid, it’s in their annual report.
The comp was relocated though. Costs were different especially on a double header

Haha so half what they could earn at Suncorp if they can draw a crowd. Sounds a cracking business plan to play at Redcliffe. Best not rain either given theres no cover so that 12k crowd would be even more shthouse.Again different business models.
No $350k was the gate takings alone.
Lets use your $400k then.
So they clear $600k
Redcliffe what maybe pay $50k for staff at the ground?
Leaves $300k profit.
That is without any corporates or signage. There is the club that backs on to the ground you could get extra corporates into.
Merch and so on.
So again there business plan was submitted using a split between grounds. They work out what is best for them If needed there is Suncorp to use 100% of time.
As is the case with the Sharks and the other Sydney teams you claim to be an expert in
2019 the rent was $490k a game. That year they brought in $1.3mill a game. The comp was relocated though. Costs were different especially on a double header

And where will they put them given there's hardly any corporate facilities at redcliffe or SC stadiums? Again its just showing what a bad call this was to not bring in a genuine Brisbane2 club if that is the Dolphins thinking long term.Broncos have had a monopoly on Brisbane for 30 years. That is corporates too The Dolphins will do what is best for them.
If they are having sponsors at the North and just outside the city then games up there might be better. Again they have done the figures, Have submitted them in their business plan but can go to Suncorp fulltime if Finances are better

The report commissioned by the clubs showed that the biggest committed fanbase following the Broncos and other NRL clubs was the Moreton Bay region. Hardly like the region isnt following NRL clubs currently. The Leagues Club has 3 function rooms. Capable of hosting weddings surely they can host corporates pre and post games.
There are 500k people in the Moreton Bay region. A Region will zero professional sport so there is untapped potential for Sponsors and fans. They are linking with the regional area further up where there is mining money
The Other Team 17 would of done the same out in Western Brisbane inland. It was never going to be a full Brisbane 2.
I know you hate the regions but they can form a partnership if done right better than Broncos and new teams fighting for the same support

lol, do you know how many corporate suites and boxes proper stadiums have? Its dozens. Not 3! If the stadium was over 20k and had a roof and decent corporates then sure use it, but it has none of those things. And again the cry for years was for Brisbane2, Not Brisbane half arsed. If they dont think they can avg 20k plus at Suncorp and sell the suites then again you have to question if they are the right decision to have given the license to. Anyway time will tell. Hopefully the 7-5 split is just for '23 due to stadium availability and isn't their actual model.

his point is pretty valid thoughThe report commissioned by the clubs showed that the biggest committed fanbase following the Broncos and other NRL clubs was the Moreton Bay region. Hardly like the region isnt following NRL clubs currently.

Also shouldnt have added the broncos either as everyone in Brisbane was already a rugby league fanDozens that hold a dozen. Give me a few hundred that you can give proper quality food anyday.
As for that pic. So no where in Brisbane can have another team according to that?
Also

Again that depends how effective they are at drawing a fanbase and corporate support. Sure if they dont have many fans and sponsors Redcliffe makes total sense, however that would be a massive failure for expansion into Brisbane. I've shown that if they can get 21k avg and sell boxes then they can make double the profit at Suncorp that they could at redcliffe. All depends how good they are at generating an active supporter base.Queensland govt is

home games at Redcliffe won’t make much less than Suncorp
plus your also forgetting home games at Redcliffe mean they make a load more with people going back to the leagues club after
haha we are talking NRL club here, without pokies most of them would be out of existence by now. Smart business and NRL rarely go hand in hand. That is it. None of us here has seen the Business plan but some very smart football people are involved they will do it right
Only 47% of people on the Gold Coast follow a Queensland team? The report commissioned by the clubs showed that the biggest committed fanbase following the Broncos and other NRL clubs was the Moreton Bay region. Hardly like the region isnt following NRL clubs currently.

That would be reflective of the population make up I'm sure. Most people living there have moved there from somewhere else. Converting those fans to Titans fans, either this generation or the next is the challenge the Titans have. Being shite on the field every year isn't helping their cause.Only 47% of people on the Gold Coast follow a Queensland team?
This from the study commissioned by the Titans?
LOL
No wonder the away team gets a bigger cheer from the crowd at Robina Stadium.
They've had 15 years to build support and are going backwards. I would like to see them succeed but year after year of poor management and apathy from the public makes it hard to see a future for this club. That would be reflective of the population make up I'm sure. So you don’t think it was smart to invest in leagues clubs originally ?haha we are talking NRL club here, without pokies most of them would be out of existence by now. Smart business and NRL rarely go hand in hand.

that’s interesting
nrl clubs are very rich in terms of property assets. Most people would think a entity that can accumulate assets worth one hundred million dollars plus is actually pretty good at business
Don’t worry when the bears get the license for Perth watch him start talking up the value of norths leaguesThe flow on from various other businesses too.
just not football business, opening a pokie den for addicts to give your their money is hardly ground breaking enterprise! So you don’t think it was smart to invest in leagues clubs originally ?
