I actually like the idea of playing him at fullback immediately.

This seasons done anyway and I'd like to start developing him immediately. Teddy can play 5/8, get his hands on the ball.

We don't owe Teddy shit anyway so I no benefit of keeping him at fullback.
Agree. One of his problems has been never giving a long run in one position. If the plan is to play him at fullback next year I would be fully supportive of starting him there now. f**k Teddy, he can play 5/8 or if he doesn't like that can leave early as well. It is not like we are making the finals anyway.

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Tuimoala Lolohea, effective immediately.

Lolohea has joined Wests Tigers until at least the end of the 2019 season and is available for selection for the team’s Round 13 clash against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The versatile 22 year old has played 53 NRL games for the New Zealand Warriors since making his debut in 2014.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary welcomed Lolohea to the club.

“On behalf of everyone at Wests Tigers I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Tui to the club,” said Cleary. "Tui has shown that he is a player of tremendous natural talent.

"We look forward to helping him develop, and reach his true potential, in the coming years."

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said that Lolohea brings to Wests Tigers experience at both a club and International level.

“We look forward to having a player of Tui’s talent join Wests Tigers for the coming two and a half seasons,” said Pascoe. “At just 22 years of age he’s already represented both New Zealand and Tonga and we’re keen to see him take his game to the next level here.”

Lolohea was a part of the Warriors’ 2014 Holden Cup Premiership winning squad and the following year named the Warriors Rookie of the Year.

He was also named in the 2016 Auckland Nines Team of the Tournament.

Wont start seeing the best of this guy for 6-8 weeks after he gets in the FG grind to get his confidence and match fitness up.

Great to get him early and get the ball rolling.

The problem with moving Teddy to 5/8 is that Teddy cant pass the ball.

I'd keep Teddy in the 1 until the finals are definitely out of reach. Then drop him and Sharon Woods, blood youngsters and start 2018 early. Really exciting times.

I'd love to see him at 1 already. That would also help him work off that belly. Play Turdesco wherever it suits us. If that is on the bench that is fine. Still seeing the Turdesco get smashed playing prop would be good as well.

Teddy is still the best 1 at the club. Hes also the best in the state.

Moving him wont help the team.

You are right but the point is that it would help Tui and the team next year.

As you can tell I have already given up on this year

Based on this years form although he's currently injured Tommy turbo is easily the best fullback in NSW.

Although turdesco is making a determined effort for us he has lost the X factor in attack this season. On a number of occasions he has also been surprisingly found wanting in defence.

James Tedesco is so far from the states best fullback currently. On talent, he would be number 2 behind Jarryd Hayne. On form, he's behind Turbo, Duges, Hayne, probably even old man Flash Gordon. Tedesco has scored one try this year...
