Yes well my point from the beginning was that if he was injured or adamant that he was eye gouged then he will speak up.

You made a reply to my original post that whether he (you meaning Morrison) layed down or not was no pointer to whether he was injured. I made no mention of him laying down or not I wasn't drawing any conclusion from that. I have been asking from the beginning is he injured??.

You can't answer, no one seems to be able to so I still maintain that if he is injured or adamant that he was eye gouged then he will go to the Judiciary.

Is the video footage not blatant enough? Players don't have to front nor make a claim because of a high tackle as video evidence is deemed sufficient.

MEDIA STATEMENT
27 June 2005

Following a request this morning (27 June) from the National Rugby League's Match Review Committee, Parramatta Eels player Glenn Morrison has provided a written statement regarding an incident in the Round 16 match against the Sydney Roosters at Aussie Stadium.

Neither the Club nor player Morrison will be making any comment as to the contents of the statement.

The Club wishes to re-iterate that the statement was only provided as a result of a request from the National Rugby League.

No problem now.... provided the judiciary do their job.
