you did us proud and yourself proud for the way you filled in for prince.

his kicking game was an improvement from what we have had the previous couple of weeks.although i can't say i approve of these chip kicks in our own half.

Kicking game was a VAST improvement......I hope Scotty is watching.

Space on long kicks, bomb it close.

The defense rests..........

Apart from the one poor option he had a very controlled and mature game. This was a stark contrast to Marshall who had a shocker. Benji showed exactly why Sheens didnt think he was ready for 5/8th. Kerr/Prince could be a good halves combo. Kerr's kicking has greatly improved since I last saw him. He has greatly lowered his trajectory, meaning longer distances. The thing that impressed me about keiran tonight was his defence. He cut down Tonga one on one all night. He actually showed up a few of the forwards for their poor tackling

He didn't just go well, he had a great NRL debut. I don't know how Tim will work it, but he can not put him back to Premier League next week after tonights performance.

i only have one problem with kerr's preformance, it was to good. You cant drop him now maybe Prince/Kerr good halfs combo and benji to bench as a back up back. but well done kerr what a game :D

yeah,i would be very tempted to keep kerr there with prince 5/8 and benji either centre or bench.
some poor options by benji and i think he needs to use his step alot less than he is at the moment.

I wouldnt be dropping Benji, but gee he has a shocker.

He couldnt do a thing right, and then decided with 5 to go he would start throwing the ball around.......heart attack stuff.

He might find himself back at centre.

I think Benji could do with some time on the bench. The kid is still very raw but obviously has talent. he needs to learn how to use his teammates

no way would i put benji on bench- put him at center. he had a bad game today but i think putting him on the bench would be going backwards, let him start the game at center and maybe swich to 5/8 later in game.

There is no spot for him in the centres. Who do you sacrifice. Both Fitzy and Elford have played well the last few weeks. Benji, as Sheens has said all year, needs to go out there and play footy and not worry about running the team. There have been very few successful 19yr old 5/8ths. The bench isnt a step back but could see benji eased in more effectively. The point is benji had a pretty good game last week but there were still problems even then

So who do you drop from the centres to give Bengi a go look I have been 1 of his greatest fans while he was playing schoolboys on the coast but am the first to admit he will still ride the rollercoaster for sometime to come schoolboys to 1st grade is a huge step and many have not made it Benji will but it will take time .

Too bad it wasnt his NRL debut :p

He played for the dragons for the last 3 years and played 2 first grade games nabbing 2 tries in them. He didnt make it at the Dragons because he was always injured.

He is very fast and has a solid all round game. I hope he does well and makes it at the Tigers as he has the ability.

Another player I hope plays to his potential and stay injury free is Luke Branighan. He is a great player and if you have Prince, Marshall, Kerr and Branighan all in top form, you will be the best off team in the comp as far as halves go.

Benji had an ordinary game but theres no need to drop him after one bad night. He should stay at 5/8 in my opinion. He will make mistake but its all part of him learning. The important thing is he made those mistakes but it didnt change the way he played. He did some good things in the second half and apart from sporting a nice black eye afterwards he'll be a better player for the experience.

you are kidding yourself if you think benji is ready for first grade 5/8th. his first half last night was pathetic, a very immature performance. Im telling you now Sheens would have given him a spraying

Yeah benji for the bench wouldnt be a bad move. arguing with trainers, didnt like seeing that.

Some silly passes ( one of them with 1 MINUTE TO GO )

Hes young, hes exuberant, hes a great talent, and at times looked dangerous last night but he shouldnt be running this side for a while yet

5/8 or the bench for now, not back to the centers

Yeah, I'm thinking the bench would be a good place for Benji at the moment, to build up some more experience in FG.

I think you're right, ST, he would have got a spray for sure ;-)

Great game Kerr. Makes me wonder why did they persisted with Reynolds for so long when Kerr was waiting in the wings.

Probably wanted to wait and see their investment in Reynolds hopefully come good, considering they paid good money for him, as he is on a Wests Tigers contract, while Kerr is on a Magpies contract. Persist with your own property before investing in someone else's so to speak.
