Was a great day of RL, healthy crowd, well organised by the WARL. Red Army had a good presence and recruited more members and the rain wasn't quite as bad as June!

The crowd looks terrible in these photos because about 80% of the stadium was sectioned off so that the public couldn't sit there. I remember years ago hearing this is due to cost of security. The more seats that are open to the public, the more it costs the WARL. Only the western stand was open.

yep, we provided volunteers for stewarding as well to help keep the costs down. To open up the full stadium and have stewards on every exit, every stairwell etc would cost $140K!
