Wade McKinnon was outstanding
Tried tried tried and even got the shits with himself in the final minute for making a mistake. If the meek are going to inherit the earth, the Parra forwards soon will be land barons.
We had eight blokes out last night..nearly as many as St George. Our replacements didn't have as much passion which was very disappointing.

Wade certainly was great last night, he's a strong little bloke & he's got agression too. That try saver where he stripped the ball 1 on 1 was awesome! Onya Wade!

Wade desearves every praise he gets! he with Justin were the only ones to do the Jumper proud!

Now if only Hurriflatch can swallow his pride instead of what he normally swallows and give Wade McKinnon some credit.

Justin Tsoulos is going to be a beauty. Still only a kid. I am very impressed with him. 2005 will be his year

I am proud of Wade in the last few weeks-he plays with sharpness, involement and fire in the belly.
Saved 2 tries -both sensational tackles- the first one on the double movement saints forward-Norrie- he just wacked him low which made him fall abrubtly and go for another movement- great tackle and heart.
Was not sure of his real quality but now he is showing us allround skill with plenty of determination
He and Justin Tsoulos and perhaps Lee Hopkins were the only penetrating ones who looked like they wanted and or could do things with the ball.
Thorman-very smooth and interesting performance- worth developing but needs to think faster out there and go for it-more decisively and aggressively-but again i saw a very good passing game- in fact he was superb both sides and his kick is long and measured- got a bit of class about him-worth more games for sure.
Stapleton was the only other worth a mention.

Got to say Wagon is not a first grader, and our centres are too big and ineffective as far as suttle and skillfull and speed goes -OUR MAJOR WEAKNESS.
LANGI AND GRAHAM AND BURT ETC ARE NOT 1ST GRADE CENTRES- NO OTHER CLUB WOULD BUY THEM IF THEY WERE ON THE OPEN MARKET.

sMITH IS TOO TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC WHILE NOT BEING A GOOD,NATURAL PEOPLES PERSON-PLAYERS DONT HAVE THE HEART FELT LOVE OF PLAYING AND PERFORMING UNDER HIM-ITS OBVIUOUS THAT THEY ARE OVER COACHED IN THE WRONG AREAS AND UNDERCOACHED IN THE OTHERS.

Tsoulos is coming along nicely. We needed someone to stand up with Hindmarsh and Cayless out, pity Vella didn't, he was overshadowed by a 20 year old playing his 6th or 7th first grade game.

have to say with Vella.....for a guy of his size i've never seen a bloke get smashed as much.

I hate to say this...but i think Vella has to go :(

It's dissapointing to see what Vella has become. He should be setting an example for Tsoulos, help him adjust to first grade, instead he's just being outplayed by him.
