A win over the Tigers while not the pinnacle of a season will at least help get the bilge pump going a bit faster to right the ship. Smithy has made a bold move, one that many have wanted, but one which many will still criticise. Its a change he had to make - it makes a point that no one is considered untouchable as well as adding some enthusiaism that has been lacking. It may be too late or it may be at exactly the right time - hopefully we'll know come Sunday afternoon.

I beg to differ. The name D. Wagon comes to mind. ;-)

While the change is warranted cutting your team to the bone wouldn't have helped - sending in your team without some senior experience would have been suicidal. He'll be on notice - especially if the likes of Afamasaga and Mateo play well. ;-)
