Hayne's contracted upgraded for next yr. Mortimor's upgraded for next yr. Fui's upgraded for next yr. If KK is re-signed it will also be upgraded. Tahu on a backloaded contract. Not as simple as the way you describe it.

Crikey Sterlo, you could have held off until news was a bit more certain/verifiable. I head about this very late last week but as a rumour. That's why I have said nothing. From the grapevine it was mentioned to Casper that communication lines are "HOT" with GI being interested, exploring options with the Eels as are a few other Storm players particularly S Manu. Apparently, Mr J Hayne has something to do with all this burgeoning GI friendship with the Eels.....

Casper still thinks this info is "bullsh*t", but then, the source has been generally good/reliable in the past. I just can't get my head around GI playing with the Eels but the source says that JT was still hot to trot in joining the Eels until the Storm fiasco blew up and he did his shoulder in again. It seems things change very very quickly around the Eels. Out with Inu, Mateo (and maybe others) and in with.........!!!!!!!

Are we in for a similar event when the Eels purchased the heart of the Dogs, Pay, McCraken, Smith and Dymock back in the 90's?????
