the position we were on the ladder did not reflect the side we've got.

we need to be at absolute top throttle each week with luck & injury on our side to stay up the pointy end of the ladder.

as now clearly shows - we can't. if fans couldn't see that than they were blinded by their passion.

All the hard work we put in at the beginning of the season came for nothing. Now we're on the same points as 5 different team's including cronulla (can't believe that). Few weeks ago I thought we were Certainties for the 8 now our seasons on the line. This is the position we all thought we would be in at the beginning of the season fighting to be In the top 8

its hard to be just an excuse when its a fact.

take that many players out of any team and you will struggle.

if the Pathers or even the Dogs at one point isn't a clear indication then make whatever conclution you want.

were you expecting to win today?

given the grunt missing on the sidelines, we've done well over the last few weeks.

it's sucks losing, but we're still higher on the ladder than we expected after round 2. we can't absorb the injury toll simple as that.

after the virtual mass suicide that was rabbiting on at the start of the year, i thought jowls macgregor's efforts with the team would have made fans happy - suddenly we're struggling courtesy of injuries & the hari kiris are on again.

get some perspective or get slashing.

Matey, I hate every loss, but apart from today's injury ridden squad, the Eels and Cowboys, should have been winners, it would have given us a safety buffer, but it's history. I don't know where we go to from here? Disappointing considering the high expectations we all had mid May...

agree re: Eels, but even the Cowboys we had 9 people missing. that is more than today.

We had a full team v dogs eels chooks What is the excuse for them
Only the last two games excuses can be used
Please mary dont say the effort was there
still 10 first graders there .
From 8/3 we cant say we diidnt expect to be there
Lose to souths out of the eight bye bye season. We cant rely on for and against anymore
Nothing less than two points is acceptable

so a side that nobody here thought would challenge for anything higher than a possible fringe / sneak in top 8 spot, manages to play above themselves defensively and has a winning streak to take them into the top 4 nearly half way through the season, is now a massive disappointment.

wow.

You can't see that we'll be lucky to sneak into the top 8? Wow.

Premierships aren't won in May.

On a positive, it was good to see runciman play really well and hutch looked good for his first hit out . There are some real f**kheads on this forum by the way.

Runciman has never let the team down and if he goes to the UK then Mulholland has f**ked up.

Hutchinson will be better for the experience and will have learned what its like playing at NRL level.

What is the point of making the final 8 when we dont have any depth in the player squad.
We will only be making up the numbers and lose every game.
Season is over boys.
I cant see us beating the bunnies, broncos, storm, newcastle, penrith, tigers.

Nothing objective about anything he posts.

As a Sharks supporter I can tell you that the Dragons have been very good. Much better than most in here thought they would be at the start of the season.

Today they played with a massive injury toll depleting the side and whilst much of the game poor, this bloke should be a little more objective and acknowledge that the young fellas out there had a crack in the second half when it would have been easier to give it away.

Hunt is impressive.
